OK so the buzz on the streetz all week is that the Kansas City Chief's star player Larry Johnson has herpes. Intrigued? Read more below!

I already knew about the talk, but I have bosses and I just knew that it I wouldn't be allowed to go where I wanted to go without serious repercussions.  Some chick went on balleralert.com and put homie on blast in the worst way. This groupie is saying that LJ's got the herp.

But it seems that Mr. Johnson want's to set the record "straight" on those who are claiming that he's got an STD.

Here's what his people are saying:

The young lady in question was a young lady that Mr. Johnson met during his time at his new residence in Miami Beach. Mr. Johnson does know the young lady, however, the young lady attempted through various means to extort money through Mr. Johnson. When the extortion didn't work, she tried to file criminal complaints but the police dropped the case because it had no merit. Once the case was dropped the young lady then turned to defaming Mr. Johnson's name to the only website that would resort to reporting such frivolous lies, Balleralert.com. Mr. Johnson cares does not have herpes. He cares about his fans deeply and he thanks his supporters for not believing these allegations which are untrue.

I don't know what to make of this. My feeling is if you're innocent and its haterz doing what haterz do, then why speak on it? Why draw anymore attention to some bullshi*t.

Could one of Jay-Z's main men be going on the defense or the offense [no pun intended] with his statement? I don't know, but first it was the gay rumors and now it's the STD gossip. Julissa better sleep with one eye open. I'm just sayin'
