Jennifer Hudson Engaged To "I Love New York's" Sloppy Seconds!

J.Hud's in the gossip rags today. Who would've known that appearing on a modern day minstrel show would've helped Punk out SOHH much.
While they tried their best to keep their spiraling love affair a secret to the masses this year, Academy Award winner, Jennifer Hudson and her new boyfriend, David [Punk] Otunga, have publicly come out with their relationship with a shocking announcement that they two are engaged.
Reportedly Punk proposed to the Academy Award winner on her birthday over the weekend. And apparently she said yet.
The two have been dating under a year and I hear Punk presented her with Neil Lane wedding ring. I'm noticing they are dropping the details of the ring, which is very odd for a Hollywood engagement announcement.
Some of you may be wondering what happened to Jennifer Hudson's longtime love James who was the custodial worker back in Chicago. The two dated for years before she blew America away with her voice on American Idol and then the world in "Dreamgirls".
I hear that James tried his best to keep the relationship together, but that Jennifer changed.
And I'm also hearing that the reasons why the new budding relationship with Punk was kept under the radar so much was because Jennifer was trying to keep the talk down to a minimal. "She knows what she did to James was wrong", says my source.
No word on when the two are scheduled to walk down the aisle, but I give them 5 years.
The man wanted to be with New York of all people. Please!
All I know is that she had better stick with her legal name, because Mrs. Ontunga is not cute!
