Is Kimora Lee Hiding Something? Ray J Issues Statement About Drug Bust, Plus Deathrow Records Up For Sale?

I had to pose the question considering some developing factors.

Never mind the pictures, let's talk the attorney smackdowns.

First off let me start out by saying that I have no concrete proof that Kimora Lee Simmons is a carpet muncher. However, I do find it particularly interesting that her pitbull attorneys are in the process of rigorously trying to prevent two popular urban sites from mentioning her name along with "gay" in any future stories.

I thought in this industry once you were called a homo it was kind of a right of passage letting you know that you made it?

Not to mention that it seems highly suspect that Kimora would take such defensive tactics against bloggers.

Again, I have no proof that Kimora likes girls. But it does make me look at her crazy.

I'm just saying...

Ray J has just released a statement regarding his drug bust [ain't I dramatic?] at an DC area hotel.

“The defamatory statements made by the staff at the Washington D.C. Hyatt accusing me of using the drug ‘boat’ or PCP are totally false and are an attempt by them to gain publicity for their hotel. These drugs are illegal and since the police were called, I would have been arrested if I had these drugs in my possession. The statements made by the hotel staff are extremely damaging, and I’m contemplating legal action."

There are more holes in this statement than a block of swiss cheese. First off I don't think that there is any motivation for the Hyatt is to seek publicity. Has anyone ever been to a Hyatt hotel? They are in a league of their own and don't need Ray J of all people to promote their franchise.

Secondly I love how he says "contemplating legal action". Man please! Sit your ass down somewhere. You ain't suing nobody.

There is a rumor going around that on June 10th Deathrow Records will go on sale for 24 million. From what I could ascertain Warner Music Group is in aggressive negotiations to acquire the one time leading hip-hop label that will include the rights to all of Tupac Shakur, Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg's music.
