Polow Da Don Clears The Air, 2/3 Of Destiny's Child Also In NYC Today?

Polow Da Don's ears had to have been burning yesterday as the internet was lighting him up over some shocking allegations that he's been snatching previously made beats from some apple program. SOHH Atlanta [See Story Here] did a post on it yesterday but stopped short of accusing the producer of any wrong doing. And in an SOHH.com exclusive Polow himself clears up all the speculation.

Here's what Polow Da Don told the SOHH News Department:

"That's not where I got them from, but they're definitely in there," Polow said of the sounds used in "Love in This Club," telling SOHH he had yet to view the YouTube video. "There's this keyboard I have that a lot of sounds come in."

Polow noted that the song contains a live bassline and that Robin Thicke was enlisted to play piano on the record.

"If a ten-year-old can make 'Love in This Club' and save Usher's career and make black women want to f*ck him again, after they was done with him for getting married, then sh*t he's a genius just like me," Polow said. "I also wrote the hook - that's not a preset."

And here's some more evidence that the Wedding is definitely happening today. Check out Kelly and Michelle chatting it up on a youtube video that was just uploaded. The two are seen acting very coy as to where their exact location is. They did admit however that they were in at The Four Seasons hotel, but thats about it.

I'll just be glad when this damn wedding nonsense is over. I cant take it!

    No. Sure he added a little something something to it, but clearly he didn't come up with a large part of it on his own. Does the computer programmer or engineer who created the beats on his keyboard get producer credit? I just think this shows that the whole music industry is going to hell in a hand basket. You got singers who can't sing and producers who can't make their own beats. Gone are the days of Quincey Jones and Phil spector and live instruments. These producers are making more money than ever stealing beats from the real people who created them. Now I know my nephew is actually a producer because he has music software that he makes killer tracks from. I have to talk to my brother about this because he might actually have a future in the industry.

    But its true. That if the beat was there this whole time. You guys can't be hatin on him for having the three brain cell capacity to use it. I just feel bad for Usher hes the one that had to pay thousands of dollars for it. Not us.

  • Who cares about the wedding, who cares where Polow got the beat from as long as he did at least have a hand in making it. The nigga is still a great producer, Beyonce would get smashed with or without a ring on her finger. Kelly still the best singer in the group, Michelle was the first to fall and thus began the trend.

  • I ain't mad at Polow Da Don. Not for THIS, anyway. The beats came as presets on his keyboard, making them available for anyone to use. Using them made his job easier. No different from sampling a song from back in the day.
