Kanye & Alexis Split Confirmed, Ray-J Really Needs To Stop Lying SOHH Much, VH1 Sinks To A New Low & More!

This past weekend I reported on a rumor I was hearing about Kanye and Alexis breaking up. And it seems that the rumor is no longer.

According to People.com the two have indeed split. And here's the bullshit press release that's been released:


"It's always sad when things like this end, and we remain friends,” Phifer tells PEOPLE. "I wish him the best in his future and all of his endeavors. He's one of the most talented people I've ever met."

"They'd been having problems," a pal of West's says. "Kanye is really focused on his show; he's putting everything into the show right now. Alexis is a nice girl, but Kanye has been going through a rough time. They hit a rough patch and for now they've split." [Source]

Damn first his mother and now his girl. Somebody make sure they hide all the razors and keep all the windows locked. But on a side note, I wonder if we'll be hearing any tasty tidbits about the Louis Vuitton Don in that new gay hip-hop book that's coming out? I'm just sayin...

Ray J opened up to MTV recently and says that though his porn tape made SOHH much money, he turned down deals totaling up to "7 million dollars".

Um didn't his current album only sell a extremely disappointing 32,900 in it's first week? Who the hell is he trying to fool? That's why he'll always be known as just Brandy's little brother, who just SOHH happened to be smashing a washed up diva.

VH1 never ceases to amaze me. The washed up video channel that built itself up by exploiting people is about to do it again. I hear they are planning a new show called "I Love Money". The spinoff is a compilation of Flavor of Love, I Love New York, and Rock of Love–using an “all star” cast from those shows. Boo. Here’s the alleged synopsis:

This co-ed battle between reality stars will throw contestants from each of those shows in a mansion in Huatulco, Mexico and have them battle each other. Similar to MTV’s Real World/Road Rules Challenge, these reality show stars will be fighting physically and mentally to take home $100,000. Production started in early February, 2008, and wrapped up in March.

It is slated to air on a TV near you this June. As for the supposed cast:

You know I used to think that VH1 was a racists channel that was all about making money off exploiting black people. But now I think they are an equally opportunity offender. They don't care who they offend, just as long as you all tune in. We are in a time in our society where people want to be famous NO MATTER WHAT THE COST. SOHH how can I blame a company for just pointing the camera. SMDH

And speaking of VH1..



I hear Khia got kicked off Miss Rap Supreme. Apparently she violated the rules by performing a song that was already previously recorded SOHH they threw her ass off the show. I don't watch the show but here's what happened.

I SOHH don't care about this chick anymore. But I know you all love to watch this tragedy. I can't!

I hear that Remy Martin's court sentencing date has been pushed back to May 13th [the same day as the hip-hop homo book drops] from its original date of April 23. And there also seems to be some good news for Remy. Apparently her sentence might not be as harsh as everyone expected. Instead of looking 25 years in the eye I hear she may only get 5 years.

That's a good deal no matter how you look at it, right?
