No, this time its real. After all the false rumors, and numerous retractions the King & Queen of Hip-Hop/Pop are getting married.

According to People magazine here's what's going down:


According to a source, the pair obtained a license Tuesday morning. The document is valid for 60 days.

A rep for Beyoncé told PEOPLE, "No comment." Jay-Z's spokesperson could not be reached.

These two have been keeping their relationship private since 2002. Beyoncé, 26, and Jay-Z, 38, are power houses in everything entertainment, so an official marriage will make them unstoppable. While the two have remained tight-lipped about the state of their romance, by no means has Beyoncé brushed off talk of marriage. In December 2006, the singer told InStyle, "You can't rush a man into anything – whether it's a relationship, marriage or having children."

    If you ask me, this couldn't have come at a better time. Beyonce fans are already sick of her over-saturating herself with multiple releases of the SAME album; and Jay-Z's high label distribution demands have caused all the major label alliances to alienate him. This marriage will generate the publicity they so desperately need to stay in the spotlight.

    Only one setback: with their untrustworthy ways and the direction both of their careers are headed at this point, it's only a matter of time before they have no one else around them to backstab and are forced to turn on each other Mr-and-Mrs-Smith-style.

    Either way, this should definitely be a show. Jay-Z is one hell of a businessman but someone forgot to send him the memo that mixing business with pleasure is always a recipe for disaster. One woman alone has the ability to bankrupt major corporations. With that said...ROCAFELLA Y'ALL! Everybody better throw up your diamond signs now because this could very well be the fall of the Dynasty Roc La Familia.
