'Wire' Cast Member Stabbed, LL Cool J Signs A New Artist, Diamond Needs A Stylist, And Fox News Gets Dealt With...Hip-Hop Style!

It looks like life is imitating art. At least as far as one of the cast members of HBO's "The Wire" is concerned.
According to published reports Christopher Clanton, who played Savino Bratton on "The Wire," is in good condition after he was stabbed during a fight in Northeast Baltimore.
The Baltimore Sun reported the actor was stabbed in the chest and buttocks early Sunday morning. Police said they believe the injury was the result of Clanton's effort to break up a fight between two men. The fight escalated and reportedly eventually included nearly 30 people. Police were forced to use pepper spray to break up the crowd, and discovered Clanton had been stabbed.
The 22-year-old was taken to a local hospital and is reported to be in good condition. He is expected to be released Tuesday, according to the newspaper. He was the only person injured in the incident.
It seems that LL Cool J is making other business moves outside of that damn tired ass clothing line. According to published reports James has just signed a 15 year old protégé.
Nicolette will be the first act to join LL's new Platinum Harvest music label and speaking of her potential, he says: "I would put her on a record with anybody and see what they think as far as competition. She's unbelievable. She's a star, not just somebody spitting bars in my face... She can rap... She's the truth."
No word on how this Nocolette chick looks. Let’s hope she’s got the body of Beyonce and the lyrical execution of Da Brat. But while that news is all fine and dandy, am I the only one questioning what the hell took him SOHH long to establish a record company? I mean damn LL, I think you might be a day late and dollar short on this one homie.
