Fantasia Barrino has been the target of recent rumors over the past few days as she was photographed leaving an undisclosed medical center in Beverly Hills[photoed above]. When I first heard about the buzz I paid it no attention. But, it seems that Fannie herself became very candid at a private award show [The 4th Annual Agape Gospel Theater & Film Awards] over the weekend. My source tells me that she began singing, but unfortunately wasn't able to finish the song.

In a shocking confession, Fantasia admitted to the audience that her doctors have in fact found a tumor on her vocal cords. She also stated that the tumor had been removed surgically but made no mention if the tumor was cancerous or not..

A biopsy has been performed and she’s hopeful that the results will be in her favor. I also hear that Young Dro was not with her - just her mom and security.

• This story is not all true...I was an audience member and while she advised that she had surgery SHE DID NOT STOP her song...she sung just a short verse and the chorus...she wasn't trying to sing the whole song (duh, she just had throat surgery). She sounded like an angel...

• wow what a way to sensationalized a story. I was a participant at the event and this is very inaccurate and out of order. I got to speak to this sweet young lady after as she was leaving and get an autograph. She let us know when she took the stage she wouldn'be speaking long as she had just 2 weeks prior had surgery. she sung what she intended to sing for the length she intended to sing it. She was doing an acceptance not giving a concert. She sounded wonderful. If not for her the show would've been a bust.

• I was also there and this is another internet lie, she cried because she was thankful for the warard and she briefly acknoweledged her gratitude because with a song which che was not scheduled to perform why she cut it short. She sounded amazing and she was there to be honored to recieve and awrd for her work on Broadway. You all need to stop lying on this girl so much.
  Just a dma lie, her maom is her genral manage she should have not been with her Young Dro has to work too, you all some sick ass people.

• So inacacurate and you got sandrarose repeating your lies......they girl was very grateful for the acknowledgement because worked hard doing the play.
  She is going to be doing a lot of work and they wanted to get this surgery out of the way..she has movie coming up and will be touring upon completion of new album and by the way check out fan-tasia.net for the truth she willbe performing April 5th. She had just returned from africa when in La for surgery.
