SOHH last week it seemed that Max B's people were trying to do damage control on each other. While one PR chick was trying to call out the other, it seems that they both might need to band together because I learned some additional information over the weekend that might be more embarrassing than the publicity stunt. Check it out below.
OK, so you already know that Max B apparently got grazed with a bullet or something last week right? Well I bet you didn't know that the whole incident happened at a used auto dealership did you? Yes people Max B was in the process of talking his girlfriend into co-signing an auto loan for him when the whole gunfire incident occurred. Now if this was a more well known rapper I probably would've gone down to Queens to get some more information on the specifics. But it's just Max B. I mean hell at this point is it even newsworthy anymore?
There's a buzz that Ashanti's album has been pushed back AGAIN. I hear that all the A fans are going to have to wait until fourth quarter before they can cop that disc. Isn't this like her fourth pushback? Damn, not a good look at all. Oh, and I've also heard about some whispers about her love life. But apparently I can't speak on it just yet. Stay tuned for that…
That damn Jermaine Dupri has released yet another youtube video documenting yet another opulent moment. But this time there's some rumor control in it for all the Janet stans out there SOHH I figured I post it here for you all to see.
JD just shot us over a new video of himself and his superstar girlfriend Janet Jackson, along with his beautiful little girl Shaniah. In the clip Jermaine insist that Janet clear up the rumors that she indeed was sick, or very, very, very sick as Janet claims. Check the video below. There also cameos of Nelly, and that Damn Usher who coincidentally was SURROUNDED by bodyguards.

And Since We're Speaking of Usher…
Why is it we've yet to see a baby picture of their new "child". I had to put that last part in quotations because we've seen every other celeb plaster their seeds on People magazine these past few weeks, but haven't heard as much as a whisper from Usher's camp. It's starting to make me wonder if the new "Usher" even exists. I mean even if People magazine wasn't interested you know the people over at Essence magazine are just salivating at the chance to garner that exclusive. But not for the rumored two million dollars Maneka is seeking.
I don't watch "Making The Band", but apparently Miss Jones is pissed at something the Puff boyz did. The video pretty much sums it up. Miss Jones has got some nerve for trying to have some principle when her whole shtick is SOHH Wendy Williams.
And speaking of Wendy Williams…
A little birdie hit me up late in the hour last week telling me how Wendy was about to get suspended and sh*t. As we all know it didn't happen, but my source told me that it was all to do about her radio the day the scandal broke. For those of you who didn't hear it, here it is. While I can appreciate the video, someone really needs to get a life. Who has time to make sh*t like this? LOL!
In days since the "suspension" rumor Wendy, and her pink room gang have stopped all subtle jabs whether directly or indirectly about the situation. But I wonder how this will affect Wendy's contract negotiations. I thought her contract with WBLS was either up, or will be up in the coming weeks. Oh, and for those who also didn't know Wendy is no longer on Philly's Power 99. According to a local paper here's what happened.
Power 99 has finally officially let go of afternoon host Wendy Williams, who hasn't been heard on the station since December. The feisty New York-based Williams switched syndicates at the expiration of her contract, and negotiations with Power owner Clear Channel Communications failed. WUSL operations director Thea Mitchem says she's searching for a local show and that fill-in Johnny V is being considered.Meanwhile, Williams' syndicate, Westwood One, is shopping her to other Philly stations.
Damn, the Levert's are dropping like flies...
Sean Levert, the younger brother of R&B singer Gerald Levert and son of Eddie Levert of the O'Jays has died. The singer was serving his 22 months in prison for failure to pay child support. Levert alerted guards that he was feeling ill, he was rushed to Lutheran Hospital after being transported to the facility from the Cuyahoga County Jail. And according to published reports he passed away. No word given yet as the cause of death. I will keep you posted.
