LL Cool J Throws More Grease At Jay-Z! Is Rocko Dissin Monica?, And Does Sharpton Make A Good Point?

I knew things were too damn quiet on the Def Jam home front. I mean let's face it IDJ has been kind of laying low since Janet’s embarrassing flop. But it seems that there’s somebody else stirring the pot over there. And that man is none other then Ladies Love Cool James. Check it out below.
LL Cool J is still unhappy with Def Jam's Shawn Carter era. In a new interview with “Sister 2 Sister” magazine LL continues slam Jay-Z saying:
Speaking out about the music mogul in Sister 2 Sister magazine, LL Cool J says, "It's been a great business for him, but it has been not so great for a lot of the artists that were there (at Def Jam) previously."We have to be very careful when we talk about it because, for some strange reason, his fans... start thinking, like, you're hating when you're just being real." LL Cool J also suggests Jay-Z was only given the Def Jam top job because the label's top executives wanted "to show the world that they still cared about hip-hop and they felt like giving him the job would show the world that."
Isn’t it funny how one of the greatest rappers alive helped build Def Jam, and the self-proclaimed “best rapper alive” needed no help in destroying it? Wow!
Did Rocko Da Don diss his baby Mama, Monica, on live television recently? According to her fans he did.
The question posed to Rocko was:
“What exactly is your relationship with Monica?” Rocko’s response was, “I mean, shout outs to Monica. That’s my people. We got a cool situation. We got kids, the whole nine of whatever. So shout to Monica.”
That comment seems to have Monica's fans steaming mad that he wouldn't go as far as to say "yea thats my girl" or something like that. Was he in the wrong? Or is that they way Thugz, or Thug wannabees act?

@effyou- LL cool J has been in the game since he was 15 years old so it's been over 20 years. I do think that Jayz really didn't promote artists on the label that he probably deemed would have posed some threat to his self proclaimed status as the greatest rapper. He rather promote rap artists like a Jeezy whom doesn't pose a threat to him as a lyricist or a good rapper. I really think he was afraid of being outshined by some of the other rap artists on the label while he was running it. He did more for promoting his own album and R&B artists (ie, Rihanna and Neyo) more than he did for most of the other rap artists.

who's not gonna push behind the new artist harder, All the old heads (ghostface, meth, LL, etc.) should already have a loyal fanbase period. And to be honest he promoted the r & b acts at a time hip hop was not sellign big. When Jeezy and Kanye and Luda sold, everybody was riding Def Jam bandwagon.
