Check out what Chris Rock told Rolling Stone magazine about today’s hip-hop scene:

“Music kind of sucks. Nobody’s into being a musician. Everybody’s getting their mogul on. You’ve been so infiltrated by this corporate mentality that all the time you’d spend getting great songs together, you’re busy doing nine other things that have nothing to do with art. You know how shitty Stevie Wonder’s songs would have been if he had to run a fuckin’ clothing company and a cologne line?… Rap sucks, for the most part. Not all rap, but as an art form it’s just not at its best moment. Sammy the Bull would have made a shitty album. And I don’t really have a desire to hear Warren Buffett’s album - or the new CD by Paul Allen. That’s what everybody’s aspiring to be.”

What the hell is this... MTV News did an interview with Frank Lucas recently and check out what he had to say about Diddy’s papa, Melvin Combs, being friends:

Melvin Combs. He's a good friend of mind. That's Puff Daddy's father. He used to bring [Diddy] to my house every day, at least at least two or three times a week. And my daughter used to push him off the [toys]. He made it great. You see where he's at now. He's on top of the world now.

Is this all that interesting? I thought a handful of you guys might care.

And speaking of not caring...

Look who done went and put her assets on the line all to nab her a job as a disc "damn" jockey. According to a press release I just received Deelishush as been named the new "Entertainment Correspondent" for HOT 102.7 on its new nighttime program, Buckie Naked Radio. She will be in the Detroit studios every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. "Im just so excited about my new position and about joining the HOT 102.7 family" says the winner of season two's Flavor of Love.
