I made a slight reference to Country star, Kenny Chesney, last week regarding September 11th. With so many people focusing on hip-hop that week, I predict now that Kenny will in fact have the number one album of the week. Let’s face it, hip-hop is huge but white people love them some country music….

I heard through the grapevine that popular all girl-group Total are back together and is currently working on a CD. They have apparently added a fourth group member. If this is true I hope, for their sakes, they bring that fire they had back in the day. Does anyone remember “What About Us”? That was my song….

I’m going to need Eve to get with the program. It was just announced that her album has been pushed back yet again. First it was supposed to come out this month. Then they said September 18th. Now the official word is October 18th. Listen, I love you baby girl, but no matter how many times you push that b*tch back it still isn’t going to sell mama. As far as hip-hop is concerned you are no longer relevant. Y’all know I’m telling the truth!

And since we’re talking about push backs, I hope none of my DTP fans are expecting to here that ‘Strength In Numbers’ compilation CD anytime soon because the official word is that it’s been pushed back until October. Apparently “Celebrity Chick” didn’t catch on at all. Disturbing Tha Peace is putting their stock in “Duffle Bag Boy”. Leave it to Lil Wayne to come and save to the day. I’m kidding of course.

Is Jennifer Hudson against hip-hop? J-Hud was interviewed recently about the direction of her highly anticipated album and do you know what she said?


“It’s not hip-hop,” she says firmly. “Let’s just say that. I don’t have anything against it, but it’s not the music that I like to sing. There’s some pop in there, and some R&B-soul, but,” she pauses for emphasis, “not hip-hop.”

Excuse me? Aint nothing wrong with putting a little hip-hop in your step Ms. Hudson. Don’t be trying to diss my genre like that. Don’t make me launch a Anti-Hudson petition..

I know the readers of this site go ape sh*t over this man. He apparently can do no wrong in the eyes of his fans, so why bother saying anything anymore. Whatevea..
