For years the streetz have been talking about Ashanti and Irv Gotti getting down. Many say that’s the reason why Ashanti is who she is because she threw it on him. Well Irv finally confirmed all the rumors on Wendy Williams Experience program last week.

    Arkan was born in Brežice, a small town in the Styrian region of southern Slovenia where his father was stationed at the time, but also spent a part of his childhood in Zagreb and Pančevo before his dad's job eventually took the family to Belgrade, which Arkan considered his hometown. His disciplinarian father Veljko Ražnatović was a Montenegrin Serb who served as a decorated officer in the SFR Yugoslav Air Force, earning high rank for his notable World War II involvement on the Partisan side, while Arkan's mother Slavka Josifović also took part in the war as a communist activist.

    Arkan grew up with three older sisters in a strict, militaristic household with beatings administered by his father being a regular occurrence. In a 1991 interview for Duga magazine, Arkan recalled: "He didn't really hit me in a classical sense, he'd basically grab me and slam me against the floor".[1] His parents eventually divorced during his teenage years.

    It wasn't long before Arkan started rebelling and acting out. He was only nine when he ran away from home for the first time, spending a month and a half in Dubrovnik's international camp. He also often ran away to stay with his more welcoming relatives, and simultaneously also got involved in various kinds of mischief, eventually ending up in a delinquents' institution. He became a petty criminal (purse snatching, kiosk break-ins, etc.) in his early teenage years, before graduating to more serious offenses as an adult.

    In 1972, at the age of 20, he illegally emigrated to Western Europe, hoping to find fortune through a criminal career. Abroad, he met many well-known criminals from Yugoslavia who were later killed. He took his nickname, "Arkan", after one of the false names of his multiple passports. As an armed robber, assailant and murderer he had convictions or warrants in Belgium, the Netherlands, Sweden, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and Italy.

    He was imprisoned in Belgium in 1974, escaped in 1977, rearrested in the Netherlands in 1979 but escaped again in 1981. At one point, he was wounded in a clash with police. He fled from dozens of European prisons, including the compound which is today a high security prison for war criminals in the Scheveningen suburb of the Hague. Ražnatović was even on Interpol's ten most wanted list.

    In his youth, Arkan was a ward of the Slovenian politician Stane Dolanc, his father's friend. Dolanc was chief of the secret police and a close associate of the Yugoslav strongman Josip Broz Tito. Whenever Arkan was in trouble Dolanc helped him as a reward for his services to the Yugoslav secret state police (UDBA). Arkan worked as an undercover agent from 1973, whose job was to carry out assassinations of political emigrants and opponents of the ruling regime.

    Arkan learned the main European languages because of his undercover works in Europe. He spoke fluent English, French and Italian, and was also familiar with German, Swedish and Dutch. He also spoke some Albanian and Bulgarian.

    He returned to Yugoslavia in 1981 and continued his criminal career, opening a number of illegal businesses. In November 1983, two federal policemen ambushed Arkan at his house in order to have him arrested and interrogated over some of his activities. He resisted, pulled out his gun, and shot and wounded both of them. An intervention from Stane Dolanc effected his release from prison only two days later. This incident increased Arkan's criminal-political reputation in Belgrade.

    As the political, ethnic and religious situation in the former Yugoslavia in the early nineties became tense, on October 11, 1990 Arkan created a paramilitary group named the Serb Volunteer Guard under the auspices of the Yugoslav Peoples Army (JNA) general staff. Arkan was the leader of this newly founded unit, which was primarily made up of the football hooligans of his favorite club at the time, Red Star Belgrade. [1]

    In November of 1990, Arkan traveled to Knin for a meeting of the council of war of the "Republic of Serbian Krajina". On the way back to Belgrade, he was arrested for gun-running by Croatian police at the border crossing between Croatia and Bosnia Dvor na Uni with five other Serbians on November 29, 1990. His group was charged with conspiracy to overthrow the newly formed Croatian state and the attempted assassination of the then newly elected Croatian president Franjo Tuđman. He was released from prison on June 14, 1991 under unclear circumstances, after a sensational political trial in Zagreb, the Croatian capital.

    Arkan's Tigers, a paramilitary force he created, set up their headquarters and training camp in a former military facility in Erdut. His volunteer army saw action from mid 1991 to late 1995, initially in Vukovar region of Croatia. It is reported that his irregular military unit consisted of up to 10,000 well-trained fighters equipped with modern weapons, including a few tanks and helicopters. His units were supplied and equipped by the reserves of the Serbian police force during the war in Croatia and Bosnia.

    After war broke out in the former Yugoslav republic of Croatia in the fall of 1991 and in Bosnia in April 1992, Arkan and his units Bijeljina moved to attack different territories in these countries. In the Krajina Arkan's Tigers fought in various locales in Eastern Slavonia. In the Republika Srpska, Arkan's Tigers, fought in battles in and around Zvornik and Brčko where they along with other Serb units overpowered the poorly armed and trained Bosniaks.

    In autumn 1995 his troops fought in the area of Banja Luka, Sanski Most and Prijedor where they were routed. Arkan personally led most of war actions, and rewarded his most efficient officers and soldiers with ranks, medals and eventually the products of the lootings.

    Arkan came to serve as a popular icon for both Serbs and their enemies. For Serbs he was a folk hero and patriot, while serving as a target of hatred and envy to their enemies. His troops were also stationed in the Republic of Serbian Krajina to fight against the Croatian army, and he had a dispute over military operations with the Serbian regional leader Milan Martić [2]. Arkan was a confidant of Zoran Đinđić and occasionally met with him during the war. During the NATO bombing campaign, Arkan warned Đinđić to leave the country because his life was in danger. Arkan also had friendly contacts and political plans with Russian ultra-nationalist politician Vladimir Zhirinovsky.

    Arkan was a powerful man with high-level connections in the state apparatus. He had significant influence over public spheres of Serbian society. For his public image, Arkan presented himself as a defender of Serbs and fighter for freedom and justice. He was known for his multiple personalities, being a strong, often brutal leader in public and more caring and reserved in private. Arkan also organized and financed humanitarian aid for poor families and war orphans. He gave pensions to his crippled and otherwise wounded volunteers and the families of slain soldiers.

    Arkan was glorified by part of the Serb population as a war hero, and was the subject of war songs. Others despised him because of his playboy lifestyle and enormous wealth gained through shady means. He owned a voluminous mansion in the elite Belgrade neighborhood of Dedinje where high-ranking politicians and foreign diplomats reside. Despite being raised an atheist in a family of communists, Arkan made a point of showing public respects to the Serbian Orthodox Church, especially its head Patriarch Pavle. Additionally, he observed and celebrated various religious holidays, often publicly. Some questioned the motives behind these public displays of his newfound religious spirituality and saw it as shameless self-promotion ploy in an attempt at ingratiation with the Serbian public.

    On November 3, 1993, Arkan and his followers founded the Party of Serbian Unity, and he became its president, but the party lost parliamentary elections and failed to win seats despite an energetic promotional campaign. In the 2000 election, however, the party received 200,000 votes and won 14 seats in the Serbian parliament.

    In the postwar period after the Dayton agreement was signed, Arkan returned to his interests in sport and private business. The Serb Volunteer Guard was officially disbanded in April 1996 with the threat to be reactivated in case of war emergency. In June of that year he took over a second division soccer team Obilić which he soon turned into a top calibre club, even winning the 1997/98 Yugoslav league championship. According to a book by Franklin Foer, "How Football Explains the World: An Unlikely Theory of Globalization", Arkan threatened players on opposing teams if they scored against Obilić.

    This threat was underlined by the thousands of veterans from his army that filled their home ground, chanting threats, and on occasion pointing pistols at opposition players during matches. One player told the British football magazine Four-Four-Two that he was locked in a garage when his team played Obilić. The Union of European Football Associations considered prohibited Obilić from participation in Europe because of its connections to Arkan. In response to this, Arkan stepped away from the position of president and gave his seat to his wife Ceca. Arkan was also a chairman of the Yugoslav Kick-boxing Association.

    Arkan has been accused of being involved in protection rackets, money extortion, and the smuggling of oil and luxury items. Later he pursued more legitimate business and had about 400 people working for him. He owned casinos, discos, gas stations, pastry shops, stores, bakeries, restaurants, gyms, as well as a private security agency.

    Arkan was unofficially allied with Slobodan Milošević, and moved under his control, although he was fairly independent in his day-to-day actions and decisions. Contacts between the men were usually carried out through a mediator Radovan "Badža" Stojičić, Serbia's police chief and Milošević's close associate, who was assassinated in April 1997.

    In August 1998, when tensions over Kosovo had already begun, Arkan tried to get close to the West, writing a letter of support to U.S. president Bill Clinton over the bombings of U.S. Embassies in Kenya and Tanzania. In the letter he expressed condolences for the victims that died in the attack, and warned Clinton on the dangers of Islamic fundamentalism. An excerpt from his letter reads: "Mr President… do not allow that terrorism continues in this part of Balkan in the Serbian state, which is forever a friend of your state." Clinton ignored him and never responded to the letter.

    When war broke out in Kosovo in the summer of 1998, Arkan is alleged to have ordered his officers and soldiers to join the army and police in the fight against the Kosovo Liberation Army, but he personally did not go there to supervise the front situation. Before the worst of the unrest began, Arkan visited Kosovo on several occasions as a government official, trying to pacify Albanians and to give a sense of security and hope to local Serbs. Nevertheless, Arkan is accused of playing a military role during Operation Allied Force.

    According to chief judge Richard May from the United Kingdom, the ICTY issued an indictment against Arkan on September 30, 1997 for war crimes of genocide, crimes against humanity and grave breaches of the Geneva convention of 1949 for customs and traditions of war. The warrant was kept sealed and was not made public until March 31, 1999, when the NATO bombing in Yugoslavia had already started a week earlier. Arkan's indictment was made public by Louise Arbour, then U.N. court's chief prosecutor, who moved to take a position as a justice of the Supreme Court of Canada only months later.

    During the period of the NATO aerial bombardment of Serbia, Arkan decisively denied all war crime charges against him in interviews he gave to CNN, BBC stations and other foreign reporters during Kosovo War. Arkan blamed NATO for bombing of civilians and creating refugees of all ethnicities, and stated that he would deploy his troops only in the case of a NATO direct ground invasion. After the US Air Force's bombing of the Chinese Embassy in Belgrade, killing three journalists, and which led to a diplomatic row between the U.S. and People’s Republic of China, NATO and various Western media claimed the building might had been targeted because the office of the Chinese military attaché was being used by Arkan to communicate and transmit messages to his "Tigers" in Kosovo.

    The ensuing months after the end of Kosovo War, right up to the time of his murder, saw a long period of controversy, rumour and speculation, especially within Serbia, largely having to do with NATO's attempts to assassinate Arkan.[citation needed]

    [edit] Murder and post-mortem fame

    Arkan was assassinated, on January 15, 2000, at 17:05 GMT in the lobby of Belgrade's elite InterContinental Hotel, a location where he was surrounded by other hotel guests. The killer, Dobrosav Gavrić, was a 23-year-old police mobile brigade's junior member. Gavrić had ties to the underworld and was on sick leave at the time. He walked up alone towards his target from behind. Arkan was seated and chatting with two of his friends. Gavrić waited for a few minutes, calmly walked up behind the party, and rapidly fired a succession of bullets from his CZ-99 duty-issued pistol. Arkan was shot in his left eye and lapsed into a coma on the spot.[2] His bodyguard Zvonko Mateović put him into a car, and rushed him to a hospital. Doctors tried resuscitation for over one hour in vain, although they managed to revive him for a moment. Death was officially concluded at 18:50.

    Arkan's companions, Milenko Mandić, a business manager, and Dragan Garić, a police inspector, were also shot to death by Gavrić. Gavrić was shot and wounded immediately after by Arkan's bodyguard, Zvonko Mateović, and fell unconscious. A woman bystander was seriously wounded in a shootout between the two as well. After complicated surgery, Gavrić survived, but remained disabled and confined to a wheelchair as result of a spinal wound.

    Željko Ražnatović Arkan was buried with military honors by his volunteers and with a Serbian Orthodox church mourning ceremonial on January 20, 2000. Around 20,000 people attended the funeral.

    After Arkan's violent death all of his numerous enemies celebrated, releasing statements to the effect that he "got what he deserved" and "died in the same manner as he lived". Another faction stated that they preferred to see him on trial in The Hague. In reaction to the death, Serb sentiments varied across the political spectrum, but almost all were shocked by the news. Pro-West Serbs consider Arkan a shame for their nation; for them, he reflects an insane bandit and erratic warlord. For others, Arkan represents an ultimate patriot and heroic legend.

    Speculation and controversy continue to surround the life of Željko Ražnatović long after his death.

    [edit] Trials and rumours

    Dobrosav Gavrić pleaded innocent and never admitted to committing the crime. He was found guilty and sentenced to 19 years in prison. His accomplices received from 3 to 15 years each, after a year-long trial in 2002. However the district court verdict was overturned by the Supreme Court because of "lack of evidence and vagueness of the first trial process".

    A new trial was conducted in 2006, ending on October 9, 2006 with guilty verdicts upheld for Gavrić as well as his accomplices Milan Đurišić and Dragan Nikolić. Each man received 30 years in prison.[3]

    However, the murder's background and identities of the person(s) who ordered it remain unclear and subject of rife speculation. According to one rumour, Marko Milošević, the son of Yugoslavia's president, Slobodan Milošević, was said to have had a harsh quarrel with Arkan over oil-smuggling control.

    Another rumour alleges that Rade Marković ordered his outside operative Andrija Drašković to find killers and coordinate the rest of the mission. The rumour goes on that Drašković then hired his fellow gangsters Dragan "Gagi" Nikolić and Zoran "Skole" Uskoković, while Dragan Nikolić further brought his friend Dobrosav Gavrić and relative Milan Đuričić into the secret mission as they supposedly were individuals in whom Gagi had full confidence (Đuričić was his first cousin while Gavrić was his best man). Together with Skole and his gang they secretly planned and organized Arkan's murder in his apartment.

    Yet another rumour that floats around claims that Borislav Pelević, Arkan's close associate and his successor as president of Party of Serbian Unity, served as inside man for the plot against his boss. Security services also wiretapped Arkan shortly before his murder; for four months the group followed Arkan's movements and whereabouts, learning his habits.

    After Arkan's death his lawyer claimed that Arkan was killed by British Special Boat Service.

    Arkan fathered nine children by five different women and was a great womanizer. His eldest son Mihajlo was born in 1975 from a relationship with a Swedish woman, Agneta. Mihajlo later went to war with his father. Then followed two daughters: one from relations with a Belgian woman and the other with a Belgrade actress. Arkan acknowledged paternity of each of his three children that were born out of wedlock.

    Arkan's first wife was Natalija Martinović, a Spanish language professor, with whom he had four children.

    Arkan later divorced her and married the much younger Svetlana "Ceca" Veličković, a popular turbofolk singer, on February 19, 1995. Their lavish wedding ceremony occurred as a day-long media production carried live on TV Pink with different locations and changes of clothing (at different points of the ceremony Arkan alternated between World War I Serb military uniform and traditional Montenegrin attire). Over the next 6 years they functioned as a glamorous power couple often appearing in public and media. They had two children: son Veljko and daughter Anastasija.

    Bosko Radonjic, Srbin u americkom mafiji, kum kuma Dzona Gotija, koji je cak opisan i u jednom filmu, na pitanje sta je i gde je podzemlje, otvoreno je rekao:

    - Pravo "podzemlje" je uvek gore, a dole, pod zemljom su mrtvi i raj.

    Krajem devedesetih ispalo je da je podzemlje svuda oko nas. Prema procenama kriminologa i drugih eksperata za nezakonita poslovanja 21. vek ce biti era kriminala. Ove procene su toliko pesimisticke da se predvida da ce kriminalci, zavladati svetom, ako ih drzave u tome ne sprece.

    Ovo je bio generalni utisak sa XI Medunarodnog kongresa kriminologa, koji je 2004. zakljucio da kriminal pocetkom 21. veka svuda u svetu belezi ogorman rast. Procenjuje se da danas realni svet organizovanog kriminala vredi godisnje skoro bilion dolara.

    Mafija je jos na kraju 20. veka bila jedna, globalna i interkontinentalna sila. To je i potvrdeno podacima, da je, na primer, u Rusiji 1990. godine bilo registrovano 700 mafijaskih grupa, da bi 1995. njihov broj porastao na 8.000. A danas, ruska mafija je dostigla nivo pararelne drzave.

    Govoreci u americkom Senatu senator Dzon Keri je slikovito opisao kako danas funckionise to svetsko podzemlje:

    - Ruska mafija salje svog profesionalnog ubicu iz Moskve da u Njujorku likvidira jednog neposlusnog vlasnika velikog marketa. Njegove falsifikovane papire obezbeduje sicilijanska mafija, koja je za tu uslugu placena raketama �zemlja-zemlja�. Ili drugi primer, kolumbijski karteli proizvode kokain. Kineska mafija ga uzima u zamenu za heroin, koji se, zatim, krijumcari u SAD. Trijade donose kolumbijski kokain u Japan i distribuiraju ga u saradnji sa jakuzama. Posle toga azijska mafija pere novac od droge u Evropi.

    Ovo nije novokomponovana bajka. Kumovi ruske, kineske, italijanske i kolumbijske mafije imali su jos 1992. godine prvi zajednicki sastanak, prvo u Pragu, a potom u Varsavi i Cirihu. Na ovim samitima masijasa postignut je dogovor o strateskom savezu mafija u ileglanoj trgovini narkoticima, jer to je roba koja danas odbacuje najveci i najbrzi profit. Sicilijanci su ponudili svoje iskustvo i znanje, kao i veze na trzistu droga. Rusi su ponudili dobro obezbedenje svercerskih kanala sirom sveta. Kinezi su ponudili svoju dilersku mrezu od Tokija preko Nju Delhija do Njujorka. A Kolumbijci su ponudili svoj kokain i bliskositocni heroin, najboljeg kvaliteta po najnizim mogucim cenama. Tako je nastala prva globalna mafijaska osovina.

    O kakvom je biznisu rec govore podaci Pentagona. Americki vojni izvori su 2004. godine procenili da godisnje oko 1.000 metrickih tona kokaina ilegalno iz Latinske Amerike ulazi u SAD. Za to je organizovan vazdusni i pomorski most izmedu dva americka kontinenta, kojim godisnje prode do 3.000 aviona i 5.000 brodova. Novac zaraden na kokainu zavrsava potom u kanadskim bankame, gde se godisnje �opere� do deset milijardi narko-dolara.

    Velika Britanija danas priznaje da ima problema sa 32 milijarde dolara bez porekla u njenom finansijskom sistemu. Podrazumeva se, naravno, da je to mafijaska para.

    Evropska komisija iznela krajem 2004. plan borbe protiv kriminalnih bandi koje operisu u vise drzava EU. Predlozi ukljucuju zajednicku definiciju na nivou Unije sta se podrazumeva pod "kriminalnom organizacijom", kao i razmenu informacija i kriminalnih dosijea izmedu drzava clanica. Podaci koje je izneo Europol pokazuju da je 2002. u Evropskoj uniji postojalo 4.000 kriminalnih organizacija u okviru kojih je delovalo 40.000 krimalaca. Medjunarodni monetarni fond ukazuje da je profit ostvaren pranjem novca koji potice od organizovanog kriminala cini od dva do pet odsto BDP u Evropi.

    Ta Nova globalna kriminalna osovina sastoji se od sest glavnih sila, povezanih nizom malih organizacija, kao i finansijskim i politickim krugovima u mnogim zemljama. A to su americki kriminalci, japanske jakuze, kineske trijade, kolumbijski karteli, ruski gangovi i italijanska mafija. Ova podzemna armija ima osam miliona registrovanih clanova. Najvise u Kini, cetiri i Rusiji, tri miliona ljudi direktno radi za mafiju.

    U Albaniji i na Kosmetu je mafija drzava za sebe, koja svojim prljavim poslovima odrzava zemlju �ciptara u zivotu.

    U tom podzemnom svetu ima mesta i za srpsku mafiju, koja je poslednjih decenija kao privezak drzavne vlasti, postala jedan od stubova Srbije, Crne Gore, ali i okolnih balkanskih i evropskih zemalja.

    Nije li zato ni malo slucajno da u vreme Novog svetskog politickog poretka dobijemo i Novi svetski kriminalni poredak.


    Albanska mafija
    Zlo Evrope

    Albanija je baza svetskog kriminala, zakljuceno je pocetkom 2005. godine u americkom Stejt departmentu. U vrlo kratkom izvestaju o stanju narko kriminala u svetu americka vlada je napisala:

    - Pranje novca i dalje predstavlja veliku opasnost za Albaniju. Ova zemlja je tranzitna drzava za sverc droge, oruzja i ilegalnih imigranata i falsifikovane robe - ocenio je americki Stejt department u svom izvestaju o strategiji kontrole medunarodne trgovine narkoticima.

    Time je potvrdeno da je albanska mafija ostala pri samom vrhu svetskog podzemlja, u kome funkcioniste aktivno vec 40 godina. Pipci albanske mafije, koja svoje izvore pored Albanije ima i na Kosmetu, krecu se od Pakistana i Turske preko srednje Evrope do istocnih obala SAD i Kanade.

    Trenutno najunosniji posao albanske mafije jeste trgovina ljudima: devojkama, mladim zenama, decom i decijim organima.

    Madarski i austrijski granicari su zajednickom akcijom uhapsili u prolece 2004. godine clanove dve grupe kriminalaca iz Srbije, odnosno sa Kosmeta, koji su se bavili krijumcaranjem ljudi. Ova srpsko-albanska grupa je, pocev od 1997. godine, preko madarske-austrijske granice na Zapad prebacila cak 11.000 ljudi, uglavnom Albance i ostale drzavljane sadasnje Srbije i Crne gore, dok je rumunsko-moldavska grupa delovala dosta krace.

    Madarski mediji javljaju da su granicari u saradnji sa sluzbom za nacionalnu bezbednost i uz koriscenje sredstava tajne policije u zadnjih nekoliko dana uhapsili 42 coveka, sto je i od strane Evropske unije naislo "na priznanje i zahvalnost". Srpsko-albanska grupa kriminalaca je, uz pomoc turistickih agencija, dovodila u Madarsku Albance sa Kosova, koji su u traznji za boljim zivotom hteli da predu u zapadnu Evropu.

    Prema policijskim izvorima, kosovski Albanci iz Madarske su prebacivani ilegalno u Austriju preko "zelene granice".

    Procenjuje se da je albanska mafija samo tokom 1999. godine prebacila najmanje 70.000 ljudi u Evropu i zaradila 50 miliona dolara. Osim drzavljana Albanije i Albanaca sa Kosova i Metohije, navodi se u izvestaju, krijumcare se migranti iz Turske, Pakistana, �ri Lanke, Kine i drugih zemalja. U mrezama svercera ljudi nalaze se i hiljade zena sa Kosova i Metohije koje su izbegle u Albaniju, ali i Rumunke, Moldavke, Ruskinje, drzavljanke Bosne i Hercegovine... Makroi se cesto predstavljaju kao politicke izbeglice, a Belgija je sediste nekoliko nosilaca ovog kriminalnog posla.

    Prema istrazivanju medunarodne organizacije �Transparency International�, u Albaniji centri trgovine ljudima su rute: Vlora, Tirana, Fier, Skadar, pogranicna mesta prema Grckoj i Makedoniji. Danas vlasnici glisera u priobalnim mestima imaju dobre veze sa policijskim strukturama i administarcijom i funkcionisu organizovano kao mafijaska grupa, koja ima pristup krivotvorenim dokumentima. Izmedu marta i novembra 2003. policija je uhapsila 150 osoba pod sumnjom da su na bilo koji nacin ucestvovali u trgovini ljudima. U samo 10 odsto slucajeva podignute su optuznice.

    Trgovina ljudima i decom

    Grcke vlasti pocele su pocetkom 2005. istragu o poverljivom izvestaju, koji sadrzi sokantne podatke u vezi sa ilegalnim kanalom za trgovinu decjim organima iz Albanije za Italiju. Izvestaj je pripremila Grcka ambasada u Tirani i dostavljen je Tuzilastvu u Solunu.

    Prema saznanjima koje prenosi atinski dnevnik, zrtve su deca iz Albanije, ciji su organi vadeni u klinikama u Albaniji i grckoj Makedoniji, a zatim prebacivani u Italiju u vrecama uz pomoc albanskih diplomatskih kanala. Pretpostavlja se da je u skandal umesan najmanje jedan grcki lekar.

    Nedavno je grcka privatna televizija "Alfa" objavila istrazivanje, u kome se tvrdi da je vise od 12.000 dece iz Albanije postalo zrtva ilegalnog krijumcarenja, a u vecini slucajeva deca su prodavana ili su ih roditelji prodavali za pare.

    Trgovina ljudskim bicima kaznjiva je na osnovu Krivicnog zakona od 27. janura 1995. godine. Predvidene su kazne od 5 do 15 godina. Kao posebno krivicno delo zakonom se predvida trgovina zenama radi vrsenja prostitucije u cilju pribavljanja materijalne i druge dobiti. Predvidena kazna je od 7 do 15 godina. Prostitucija je danas ilegalna u Albaniji.

    Trgovci belim robljem preko Evrope godisnje prokrijumcare oko 700.000 ljudi. Od toga, preko Balkana, prema zvanicnim podacima OUN, godisnje se ilegalno srpskim putevima provuce oko 200.000 ljudi koji zavrsavaju na Zapadu kao jeftina radna snaga.

    Potpukovnik Sinisa Grbic, nacelnik pogranicne policije kaze:

    - "Crna rupa" trgovine ljudima je Kosovo i Metohija, konkretno Pristinski aerodrom jer tamo "ne postoji kontrola ko ulazi i izlazi iz zemlje". "Iz Pristine put vodi preko Bujanovca, Nisa do Beograda, a dalje do zapadnoevropskih zemalja.

    Grbic je podseca da od dolaska Unmik srpska policija nema nikakve mogucnosti kontrole kosovskog podrucja. Ilegalcima pomaze izuzetno razgranata i dobro organizovana mreza krijumcara ljudi, koji od svakog izbeglice uzimaju bar po 1.000 dolara.

    Jedan od ljudi koji je uhvacen i optuzen za trgovinu Pakistanaca je Mulazam Husein �ah. Optuznica �aha tereti da je u dva navrata organizovao prebacivanje ilegalnih imigranata preko nase zemlje u zapadnu Evropu, prvi put trojicu a drugi put cetvoricu Pakistanaca.

    Mulazam �ah je izjavio da je pre nego sto je dosao u Beograd devet godina ziveo u Rumuniji, gde je imao preduzece. Nakon toga se odselio u Siriju, a prilikom jednog poslovnog puta boravio je u nasoj zemlji. Optuzeni je izjavio da se tokom svog jednodnevnog boravka upoznao sa cenama na nasem trzistu, zakljucio da u Srbiji moze da se zaradi i odlucio da zapocne ovde posao. Posle nekoliko meseci osnovao je preduzece "MS eksport import" i prosle godine se doselio u Pancevo.

    Tamo je upoznao treceoptuzenog Srdana Garabiljevica, taksistu iz ovog mesta cije usluge je koristio zbog nize cene voznje. Po recima �aha, Garabiljevic ga je u jednom trenutku zamolio da posalje garantno pismo za dva Pakistanca, �aukata Hajata i Raba Navaza, cijeg brata je taksista upoznao u Londonu. �ah je pristao na to, a inace su ova dvojica Pakistanaca poznanici prvooptuzenog jer su iz istog okruga. �ah je, kako kaze, pomagao prilikom prevoda i smestaja dvojice Pakistanaca, koji su boravili kod Garabiljevica.

    Treci njegov zemljak, Muhamed Naim, dosao je u nasu zemlju, takode, uz garanciju Mulazama �aha, a njih dvojica su hteli da otvore radnju za prodaju tekstilne robe u Pancevu. �ah je izjavio da je insistirao da se Naim prijavi policiji, ali da je ovaj sve odlagao. Na kraju je jednog dana otisao, a nakon toga je policija uhapsila �aha rekavsi mu da je njegov ortak Naim uhapsen u �idu prilikom pokusaja prelaska u Hrvatsku.

    �to se druge grupe od cetvorice pakistanskih drzavljana tice, �ah je izjavio da ih je video samo jednom a da ga je tamo odveo Naim. Oni su bili smesteni u jednom stanu u Beogradu, �ah se tamo, kako kaze, kratko zadrzao a kada je cuo da su oni ilegalno presli granicu, rekao je da nece nista ima sa njima i otisao je.

    Drugooptuzeni Stanislav Samardzic, taksista iz Beograda, priznaje da je Pakistanac je od njega zatrazio da preveze cetvoricu njegovih prijatelja od Golupca do Beograda za 200 evra. Zbog dobre zarade, Samardzic je pristao, a na poziv optuzene Danijele Stamenkovic dolazi do sela Vince gde preuzima cetvoricu stranaca kod njenog nevencanog supruga Bojana Vuckovica, koga je znao od ranije. Zbog toga sto je imao gumi defekt, kupuje im karte za autobus i salje ih javnim prevozom. A zbog kvara je vozio polako, pa je, kako kaze, u isto vreme stigao u Beograd kada i Pakistanci i sacekao ih je na autobuskoj stanici. Za tu voznju dobio je 200 evra od �aha, a zaradu je podelio sa jednim kolegom.

    Posle toga �ah, koji mu se tada predstavio kao Mihajlo, zatrazio je da preveze druga tri Pakistanca do �ida. Samardzic je opet pristao zbog dobrog posla, ali je u kolima vozio dete, pa je ipak odustao. I ova tri Pakistanca je stavio na autobus za �id. Ipak, kada je video da su oni zaboravili stvari kod njega u kolima, i sam se odvezao do �ida da ih vrati. Za ovu voznju je dobio 100 evra.

    Prema njegovim podacima 20 odsto stranaca u tranzitu bavilo se u Srbiji kriminalom, najcesce kradama, a 15 odsto se bavilo prostitucijom. U septembru 2003. godine u akciji "Miraz 2" na granicnom prelazu Batrovci prilikom pokusaja ulaska u nasu zemlju s falsifikovanom hrvatskom putovnicom otkrivena je jedna nasa drzavljanka, zrtva trgovine ljudima i odmah smestena u Skloniste protiv nasilja u porodici i trgovine zenama. Tokom te akcije otkriven je i identitet lica koja su ucestvovala u trgovini ljudima, o cemu je odmah obavesten Nacionalni centralni biro Interpola u Beogradu.

    U policijskoj akciji "Leda" je privedeno 40 drzavljana SCG i 28 stranaca. Podnete su krivicne prijave protiv tri lica zbog posredovanja u vrsenju prostitucije. Medu zrtvama trgovine ima i nasih zena. Vecina njih je pronadena na teritoriji Crne Gore, BiH, Italije i Kosova.

    Jedan od najvecih trgovaca belim robljem, koji je direktno bio povezan sa Kosmetom, bio je Dilaver Bojku, Albanac iz Makedonije. Dilaver Bojku zvani Leku je pocetkom marta 2003. godine uhapsen u svom nocnom klubu "Bern" i odveden u zatvor u Strugi. Kada je pocela sudska istraga protiv Bojkua mnoge devojke su progovorile o njegovom biznisu u koji su bile umesane i mnoge ugledne licnosti iz Makedonije i okolnih zemalja.

    Osnovni Sud u Strugi, kojim je predsedavala Klementina Savevska, osudio je Dilavera Bojkua na sest meseci zatvora. Domaca i svetska javnost je bila zapanjena. Najveci trgovac bijelim robljem u Evropi, covek pod cijim je ropstvom, kako se pretpostavlja, bilo 3.000 zena i devojaka od 16 do 26 godina, osuden je na samo pola godine robije.

    Tuzilac se srecom zalio, pa je Apelacioni sud u Bitolju osudio Dilavera Bojku, Leku na tri godine i osam meseci strogog zatvora. Kralj prostitucije i trgovine bijelim robljem u Evropi, kako su ga nazvali policajci i novinari, ima 47 godina.
