Now you take into account how much a ticket costs at a performance, how much of it goes to the arena, how much a club pays for an artist to perform and we can figure out what he has.

Does nas have hundreds of millions? No. But I'm sure he has single or ten's of millions, so he's far from broke. And if he was, he could just tour for the rest of his life and live very well. Man yall cats have no clue as to whats going on with this music game. let me break it down for you because I happen to promote concerts for a living. a artist of Nas caliber Demands anywhere from 35,000 to 50,000 per show maybe more depending on the venue and seating ( I know my partners and I tried to book him in '04 and that was his asking price back then) Now you do the math let's say he only tours 30 days out of the year that's anywhere from 420K to 600k for 30 days worth of shows and Nas is the type of Artist that does'nt even have to have a record out to sell out a show or go on tour. So if he tours for 1 month straight the bare minimum he is walking away with is 420k per month if thats broke I wanna be broke too. On top of that he get's a 3 mil advance makes two videos at about 300k apiece (totaling 600K) MAYBE 1 mil in marketing and pockets the other 1.4 mil why yall think he only comes out with 2 videos per album he has it broken down to a science and that's good business. Not to mention that he had a 10 million signing bonus with Def Jam yall better do yall homework b4 you start coming with these ridiculous accusations about someone being broke. I have done promotions for Young Jeezey, Trey Songz, Dip Set, Young Joc, Clipse etc and they go for anywhere between 8,000 and 18k. Just thought I'd shed some light on this for you ignorant Kiddies.
