The Clipse v. Wayne feud is back on. Remember last year when Wayne told folks he "didn't see no f*ckin' Clipse"? Well they've responded...again...in the new edition of Lace magazine:
“If you Wobble Dee Wobble Dee, you can’t be a legend,†Malice said, when asked about Lil Wayne’s “greatest rapper alive†stance.“You can’t kiss other men, you can’t wobble dee-wobble dee, and and you can’t bite styles,†Pusha added.

While I do think Lil Wayne is way better than the Clipse, they are right. Wayne's career is just taking off. Yeah you can say he has been in the game long and was hot, but not since the Carter (when he admittedly started rappin like Jay-Z and Biggie), did he blow up and this campaign for "Best Rapper Alive" started.
The problem w/ you "rap" fans is ya'll hop on the bandwagon. It happened when 50 came out and everybody immediately said Ja Rule was wack. Now when Lil Wayne kills a few mixtapes, Jay-Z is a old man and his album sucks. In reality, Kingdom Come was 10x better than the shit that was out at the time. Anyway, I'm sure ya'll will jump on another bandwagon. If BG blows up, ya'll will be claiming you never liked Lil Wayne.
In my opinion, the next generation of rappers have arrived. It started with Lupe Fiasco who was slept on.

The Clipse are subpar rappers, I categorize them with TI, Jeezy and every other coke dealer turned rapper. 3) Common sense tells us that Wayne has a new ghostwriter. Your style doesn't just change up overnight people. Use your heads. Somebody is writing for this boy. It's not an uncommon practice. Again, I think Wayne is great. He is the HOTTEST rapper out, not the BEST. There are plenty of MCs that could beat him but none that have his level of influence. Imo, Jadakiss can rap better than Weezy but he will never be as popular. But like EReal said: sales don't equal skills. I think today's fans forget that.

The reason Jay is the best is cause he waits in between albums and songs, he doesn't drop mixtapes twice a week, he only appears on a couple songs and then on his albums, and that's it. It makes the demand greater and then he supplies the market with PURE crack when they are feinin for it the most.
You young 14 year olds think that since nobody is dropping as much material as Wayne that it makes him the best, and that's just plain retarded. He's oversaturating the market and people are gonna get sick of him just like they did 50, because they are gimmicks.
Wayne has less credibility than any other rapper in the game, and that's something he can't change either.
