While I do think that this young girl and her parents need to take responsibility for what happened that night in the club, this should be a lesson to all of these performers...professional and up and comers. That club was supposed to be 18 and over....that is true but, we all know how things work in the clubs these days. These bouncers will see a girl with some make-up, high heel shoes, barely there clothing and let her in with the quickness without checking id. That girl was probably a regular at the clubs, which is a shame. As an artist and performer, Akon should have been proactive in this situation. It is a bad idea to rely on the clubs to uphold the rule of 18 and over, cause you cannot depend on them to uphold that standard. If he wanted to do a sexually explicit and graphic dance like he did, it is probably a better idea to make sure that the young lady is a dancer that he hired. This way, he will know for sure she is of age and no scandals will result from his performance. Let's face it, these artists need to be more careful. Picking a random girl out of the audience is not the best idea. Even if she was of age, she could have easily came out a couple of days later and made up some story about being humiliated and ashamed of the actions that took place at the concert. She could have tried to weasel some money or fame/attention out of him in that way as well.

Personally, I do think that the dance was really explicit and way too graphic which is why he should hire his own dancers and make them sign contracts so that they know what they are getting into. The way he just left her on the floor like that once it was over was unnecessary as well. He just left her there to get up from herself, like a used rag doll... it was a big mess.
