Word has it that G-Unit may have another signee soon. None other than Weezy's fave person Gillie Da Kid. Recently Young Buck told GDK he had an open invitation to roll with the UNIT so they could attack the common enemy: Cash Money Records. Gillie said he's actually more interested in signing with a big name record label, but he's impressed with a platinum selling artist like Buck reaching out to him since he's just on his way up.

And as for Wayne, he told Complex magazine in the upcoming issue that he isn't even seeing Buck right now. He said:

"I'm rich! I'm something to talk about. He should have been promoting his album."

Truth hurts.

Speaking of folks getting added to record labels, Young City (formerly known as Chopper) of Da Band is about to sign on with the CMR brothers. He said Diddy played him both on the Hurricane Katrina front and on the business front. He said Diddy didn't even call to check on him or offer him and his family a damn thing after Katrina hit. And as for his solo career, Diddy begged him to sign on to Bad Boy as a solo artist, but never got it poppin with an album or any business/promo. So he's throwing up the duece and going with the Home team. Cash money baby.

I also heard that Baby's (of Cash Money) youngest sister Tamara was in a fatal car accident last night and she was killed. Prayers go out to the whole fam.

Dame Dash is still in denial that Jay's first verse on "Lost Ones" is about him. Well...he's trying to be. He said he would be disappointed if Jay was talking about their "relationship" on wax like that. Dame told VH-1 recently:

"Me and Jay did too much together for me to have beef with him," Dash said. "If he was talking about me, I would be disappointed. I wish he would take me aside and tell me. That's what grown men do. We done so much, for me to have beef with him would be crazy. It would make everything I did look corny. ... Guys like us don't talk about other guys on a track. We pull each other to the side and speak.

But then he says:

"I was just a little disappointed," Dame continued. "I don't feel nothing against him. I think it was a bad decision on his part. I would never air my laundry like that. It damages the history that we made. I got nothing bad to say about that man, just that scenario. Could you imagine 10 years ago that Jay would be making a record about Dame Dash? I used to eat at his house for Thanksgiving. I know his mother, his whole family. I got no beef. We made way too much money together. I almost felt sorry for him. It's like he made an excuse for what he did. We used to have a lot of fun. The absence of Dame Dash is critical."

Oh really Dame?

While we're on the subject of whackness, Jeezy is backing down from his previous comments on Nas and Weezy. Audio Damn shame.
