Once again, as I reported before, Outkast is NOT headed to Splitsville. For some reason, rumors have been poppin off recently yet again (from those sources who love make-believe and shall remain nameless) that the duo has chunked the deuce and gone on about their separate business. Rumors have been fueled by the fact that only one half of the duo appears in their newest song and video "Morris Brown" .
While Big Boi held it down solo on the track, he is saying that they DID NOT break up and HAVE NOT broken up. He called in to NY's Hot 107.9 last night and broke it down for all the listeners. Andre's major focus is the Idlewild movie and his new cartoon series. And since Big Boi's major focus is still the music, he went at it alone. But there's no beef/breakup. He made sure to let the radio folks know that they need to call anyone in the Outkast crew if there are any further q's about this matter. Like Diddy said, take that take that.

Lil Flip has just made a major move. Many of us know he left Sony in June after all the drama with his album leak, but now Flip has joined his H-Town counterparts Mike Jones, Paul Wall, and Pimp C over at Asylum/Warner Music Group. He said about leaving Sony:
"All I know is my copy is watermarked, I didn't leak it and the only other people that have it is Sony," Flip says. "The point of taking the masters was so we could release the album exactly how it was. Now we have to regroup." Sony had no comment on the subject."
I don't know how smart it is of Flip to join three others rappers who will arguably take away any "extra shine" he was gonna get on another label due to him having that unique H-Town flow. But clearly Asylum did aight by signing this free agent.
And now we know why his ass disappeared all quick right before his album dropped. Most people speculated that he was the Houston rapper whose girlfriend was suing him for giving her H.I.V. since he dropped off the scene real quick and at a suspect time. But he was just homeless (label wise) and shifted his focus to finding who could push even more units for him. Well, that's an excuse at least. Nevamind. He still may be that guilty culprit we talked about a while back. Only time will tell.
