With Janet's album drop next month looming over our heads, JD as talked some major ish coming up to this point. Supposedly he's been telling every source that will listen--not out in the public eye of course--that HIS SOUNDS will bring back R&B and HE is the reason why hip-hop is staying alive. He, of course, produced his girlfriend Janet's damn near entire album this time around. A lot of folks aren't feeling the first single "Call On Me", so is that a bad sign for the rest of the album? Yeah, JD's sound is unique, but is it unique enough to "bring back" hip-hop? I don't know about all that since he been in the game for longer than folks realize as it is. It seems to me like everybodyaround Janet and JD is hella confident that JD is the answer to hip-hop and R&B. But who knows. Speak on it....
