Romeo Leaving The Rap Game? Should Outkast Have Turned Down Oprah?

Romeo is droppin a new track called "Shine" and this one is without Daddy P. Finally. Peep the video of him tryna get his grown man on. But be forewarned -- it's boring as all helll. I heard from some sources that Romeo may be leaving the rap game for a while to pick up where Master P left off. He joined a summer basketball league that usually turns out players that make it into the NBA draft. Supposedly Romeo's a baller on the court and he's been layin game down around the Wood on other celebs. We'll see how this works out.

Sources everywhere are reporting that Lady O reached out to Andre and Big Boi to make an appearance on her show. She wanted to kick off her new season in the fall with the Outkast boys to talk about their new movie Idlewild, Andre's new cartoon, and of course their new upcoming album. Now a lot of people are chalking this up to the "Hip-Hop Hates Oprah" bandwagon everybody's tryin to hop on these days. But 'Kast is saying that's not the case -- but just that the 2 are having some differences right now and are not making appearances together.

Me personally, I think that's a bunch of bullshit. Mainly because I've heard on several occasions (and even from Andre's mouth) that there is no beef going on between the two. And as for the rumors of them retiring from touring, they are not stopping their tours altogether, but Andre has told people he is because he wants to move on to other things -- mainly acting. So Big Boi will be doing the tours on his own -- holding it down for the both of em. And if they're not on bad terms, what other reason is there to turn down Oprah other than having beef with Lady O herself? Speak on it...
