Jigga's Signee Aztec Dropped? Timbaland Said What?

Where the hell is Aztec? A lot of folks have been wondering. The Houston streets are talkin' about the Roc La Familia member and it doesn't look that hot for Az. According to the Roc website, Aztec's album is entitled Columbian Necktie and it has that release date rappers hate to see: Coming soon. And it's been that way for a long ass time.

Now before y'all go hoppin on Jay for not releasing his artists in due time, word in the H is that he was recently dropped from The Roc. Hov supposedly dropped him for stealing a track from some other cat just so he could get his foot in the door to get signed. Y'all know Hov does NOT do liars. Well, at least folks lying to him.

And it gets better. Not only did he supposedly get dropped, but I'm hearing that Az snitched on some drug dealers in the H and now he's hiding out in the midwest. Damn. But still, sources are still saying his album is supposedly getting released in February of '07. And I find that real hard to believe when Hov's already dropped his ass from he Roc La Familia list. I guess Tru Life is about to have to hold it down for the whole Familia. Speaking of Jigga...

Timbaland told some sources last week that he just finished up producing some tracks for Hov. For what? He said he's not talking... but we can all have a good guess for what. Tim went on and on about how these tracks bring back that original Jay-Z sound and basically covered up the fact that Jay is dropping a new album by early next year. Retirement what?

Damn the retirement. The real question here is: What compelled Hov to come back to the scene full force? Clearly he's got something to say. I guess we'll just have to fall back and wait on his one.
