50 Cent named Songwriter of the Year. The Game arrested for Brass Knuckles.

50 Cent (seen above living it up @ the Cannes Film Festival) was named 'Songwriter of The Year' this past Monday. Word is The American Society of Composers gave out the award at the Pop Music Awards in Cali.

I knew he was a pop singer! Only he could get away with doing what Ja Rule did 5 years ago, without ridicule. I find that hilarious.

Word is The Game was arrested in Cali last week and was charged with possession of a dangerous weapon. Guess what that "dangerous weapon" was? You guessed it, a set of brass knuckles.

It all started when LAPD pulled him over for not having a license plate, not to mention, his tinted windows were darker than California regulations.

Sounds like another case of D.W.B. K. to me - Driving with Brass Knuckles. How gangsta.
