Tour Planned for Chris Brown, Lil' Wayne, Ne-Yo, Juelz Santana and Dem Franchize Boyz

Breaking news from the wires:

Chris Brown, Lil' Wayne, Ne-Yo, Juelz Santana and Dem Franchize Boyz are in talks to hit the road together this summer under the banner, “Up Close and Personal Tour.” While Brown spoke about it at the Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards last weekend, Ne-Yo's publicist said the tour has not been solidified, reports MTV.

What is there for Ne-Yo to consider? He better get on that bus, before they call Mario!

Anyway, this would be a good look for all parties involved. Has Juelz ever done a major tour? Has Wayne been on the road since the Cash Money break up?

New artists and those on the C-list would do well by spending more energy connecting with fans at concerts, rather than politicking for a spot on that 106th and Park couch. It's not as glamorous, but neccesary to launch into that next step.

By the way, maybe a better name for this tour would be the "I Wasn't Chosen for the 'Scream Tour' Tour".
