Wassup y'all!!
Hope y'all had a great weekend was great. By any chance, did anyone go check out the 25-hour Rapathon at the Hip-Hop Culter Center in Harlem? I went the first night and it was bananas. My peoples John O. and Priest Forever (Tha Gecko Brothas) and Kween Ka$h did their thing, as expected.
I also got put on to some other underground emcees that smashed the stage, including 16-year-old Nicolette (who's newly signed to LL Cool J's label and RIPPED a freestyle over the "Boy Looka Here" beat), a 15-year-old cat who's name I cannot remember but was dope (I will find out though), and Hasan Salaam . I will be posting these cats' music on the blog at some point, but if you can't wait until then, check them out, they ALL have Myspace pages. There was also another dude there whose energy can only be classified as "DMX After Two Eightballs, Acting Out on His Manhood Being Taken From Him". Yeah, cats got pretty savage on 124th street last night! If you attended, hit me up and let me know what you thought of the event.
Anywho, for today, I thought I'd share with you all this interesting footage of Remy Ma being interviewed for Shade 45 Radio -- IN THE PEN. She touches bases on Lil' Kim (because she just can't stop mentioning her), Barack Obama ("vote for him if you are (allegible/illegible?!) to vote".... damn...) and other crazy sh-t. Check it out:
Seriously, all I can say is WOW to that interview. What the f-ck is her problem?! I just have this weird feeling that when she finally leaves "The Island", it'll be like Foxy all over again-- she won't be able to rhyme for sh-t. Only time will tell... however long that may be...
Another WOW goes to Pap's backwards rhyme at the end. I was feeling it, I wish I could've heard more.
I know it's a lil' short today, but don't sleep, I got that Miss Rap Supreme re-cap airing tomorrow and you know some sort of drama will go down tonight!
Until then, holla at me below or at Breezylovesyababy@gmail.com

Of course she mentioned Lil' Kim!
Every interview she does, she gotta mention Kim.

She needs to worry about herself!

I AGREE WITH REMY LOVER......NOBODY CARES ABOUT HER.......IT WAS FUNNY TO HERE PAP IN THE AUDIO...HE LOVES HIS WOMAN.......THE DUDES FLOW WAS GOOD...WOULD OF LIKED TO HERE THE REST MYSELF...
I like Remy a lot, and I had hope for her as far as saving female hip-hop. However, she has to pay for the reckless behavior she has done. I believe that she is guilty of the crime that is bidded on her. It's just a shame how she couldn't take her fame to do more mature things like Jay-Z, Queen Latifah, Eve, LL Cool J, Missy Elliott, Diddy, Ludacris, etc. It's even more sad how she is on a phone interview those ignorant dude on Shade 45 proclaiming her innocence and talking about a corrupt system in NYC. Not every rapper is on "that list" if there is a list. I'm sure that NYPD ain't thinking about LL Cool J or KRS-One, but maybe knuckleheads like Remy, Busta, Kay Slay, Kim, Foxy, and all these others who think that keeping it real in hip-hop means to spazz out like lil' idiots in the street. That's real talk.
Remy said: Don't be mistaken by 12 people that weren't her peers.
Someone go get me Remy's peers:
6 pigs, 5 rats, & 1 cockroach....
RemyMAN wants a re-trial
remy your wack.
