My, oh my. Hope you enjoyed last week’s lil’ hiatus because Miss Rap Supreme is back in full swing, with the haters hating and the chickens clucking... just like back in high school. Or on your block.
You know the top of the episode always gotta include some bullsh-t. Chiba, Chiba, y’all starts mouthing off about how fake Lez-Byata is, shedding light on the fact that she hasn’t come clean about saying that Rece was fat and Nicky2States was a wack name to call herself. Well, let’s put it like this: Rece isn’t fat, she’s thick and that’s perfectly fine. But there is something alarmingly sloppy about her, and she be killing me with those get ups. And as for Nicky2States’ name? Well, someone’s gotta keep it real. Unless her name means that her legs can spread wide enough to fit in all the dudes between two states, then yeah, it’s pretty much a dumb name.
So anyway, who else was happy that Serch and Yo didn’t make the girls do a stupid pageant to chose their teams? Sh-t, I felt like Lady Twist for a minute (but don’t worry... if you didn’t see this episode... TRUST ME... they did something to even further bury their credibility in the ground).
Naw, this time around, Serch just pulled two sashes out of a bag (Byata’s and Cherry’s) and the two girls were named team captains. They then had to chose their teams, which consisted of
Team Byata: Rece, Nicky2States
Team Ms. Cherry: Bree and Chiba
The girls find out that their challenge is called “Thar She Blows” (hmm... no I’m gonna resist), meaning, they had to film a music video involving a boat. The way it was set up was so that they had to choose from a set of wack props from good props, hot guys to losers, so on and so forth. The way they divided the booty was pretty even, I thought.
The most interesting part of the episode came when we saw the girls preparing for the video.
Now let me say something about Nicky2States: I can see why the fellas on the board. To me, she’s not cute at all , but shorty’s a FREAK. She starts talking about how she’s just gonna snatch her clothes off in the video, and during the actual filming, talks about how the cold air is making her nipples peak. Umm... relax sweetie, it’s not that serious. And don’t get me started on that ‘Misses Rap-es Supreme-es’ statement. I swear... they didn’t have English literacy in your two states, Nicky?
What I found appalling about Team Cherry’s prep time is that Cherry basically got in her own way. Obviously, Bree is the only one that has some idea about how to make a hot video (hint: plots actually WORK), but Cherry goes “it’s a video, not a movie.” I HATE closed-minded people! On top of which, who the F-CK told her she could SING? T-Pain?! Oh man... I couldn’t BELIEVE they let her get away with that. But it’s whatever, I ain’t on the show so hey... but I GOT to hear you guys’ opinion on that one!
Oh yeah, before I forget: Ego Trip committed a CARDINAL SIN.
To get the girls prepared on how to make a hot video they bring in someone who “knows about making videos”. I’m thinking we might get lucky and get someone credible, like Hype Williams or Little X. But NO. HELL TO THE NAW!

Sidebar: Is it me, or did “Boss Chicks” remind you of the worn out p-ssy version of “Lady Marmalade”? TELL ME BYATA DOESN’T REMIND YOU OF PINK!
Personally, I don’t think Team Byata deserved this win. It was executed wrong, point blank. In Byata’s own words, it was “wack. Waaaaaaack!” Ms. Cherry’s over-acting stole her entire video.
So let’s talk about my favorite part of every show: The Eliminations!
Chiba, Bree and Cherry are up on the chopping block. I’m feeling really bad for Bree at this point, because she’s a soldier, and in my opinion, is the only one in the house that seems to have an honest love for HIP-HOP as an art form and a culture, not just the glamorous side that a lot of mainstream rappers portray. And you HAVE to respect her heart. Speaking of glamour, that was the topic of this week’s elimination: to write about the glamour of life.
Ms. Cherry’s delivery was on point, but the rhyme itself was not. She completely disregarded the topic.
Chiba: As much as I despise Chiba, she bought it this week. Did you see the look on Byata and Rece’s faces when Serch announced that she wasn’t going anywhere? They were like, “Damn, muthaf-cka, send this one-eyed bytch home already!” Priceless.
Bree: Ohh, Bree. As usual, she is the most relevant of the bunch. And her delivery actually flowed a bit. But when she paused...I was like, “Oh sh-t, Bree, just take off your sash now. Don’t look back on this phony ass show.” But of course, she rode out like a soldier. I think she even knew it was a wrap at that point, but she held her head high.
So damn, y’all. We got another month of this show, because we’re down to five chicks: Chiba, Byata, Nicky2States, Ms. Cherry and Rece. NEXT WEEK, Chiba and Byata are gonna have to work together, so it will be interesting to see how that plays out.
Leave me a comment about how you feel about Bree’s leaving. Was it time? Should Cherry have bounced instead? Who do you predict will be eliminated next? Honestly? I’d say Rece, but seeing how these producers, Serch, Yo, or whoever is REALLY at the hands of the eliminations think sending chicks not deserving to go home is a sport, I think I’m about 75% WRONG. So I may be wrong about Rece, but call me crazy if we DON'T see Byata and Chiba make the final two. N-ggas either wanna see these two f-ck each other up or just f-ck, period, and will keep tuning in until the end to see the sh-t go down either way. If the producers are smart, neither one of the girls will go home immediately.

Miss Cherry should have BEEN gone because as I have said over and over again the girl NEVER raps on topic which is glaring evidence that she is spouting pre-written rhymes. Last night was no differant. Bree's rhyme was totally on point and the fact that she stumbled one time is not excuse enough for her to be eliminated over Miss Cherry.

Miss Cherry's team shouldn't have been up for elimination in the first place. Byata's team video was garbage despite the fact they had a yacht and lovely ocean views to work with. I thought Miss Cherry's vocals were just fine and was shocked by her vocal ability.

Now that they are down to the final 5 there is no one left that should go home before Miss Cherry. If she gets away with spouting one more whack a$$ pre-written rhyme I'm gonna kick my TV through the back of my entertainment center and my daughter's bedroom wall. That chick gots to go. She's been the wackest in the house for the last two weeks as far as I am concerned.

Last night's elimination rhyme solidified Chiba's spot in the final two for me. Other than Miss Cherry I like the skills of the rest of the girls in the house so I can't pick who the other person will be just yet.

This show really pisses me off because it completely makes a mockery of hip hop. I'm not sure who will win because all of them pretty much suck at this point. Maybe Chiba will pull it out at the end. Who knows?

Anyway as far as the show goes both of those songs & videos were wack as shit BUT I do agree that Cherry's team shouldn't have won because their song was less wack...but still pretty wack. I liked Cherry's voice on the hook I just didn't like what she was saying. Both songs & videos were just too corny for my liking
In the elimination my girl Cherry aint rip it like I wanted her to (or like she did other weeks) but she did enough to stay. It was just Bree's time to go even though her rhyme was ill....well until she fucked up...which was inevitable lol.

I used to work with Bree. To say she had the most love for Hip Hop might be a lil much. When I met her she didnt know who Chuck D was and swore that Eazy E was "some real shit" even though Dre used to record that nigga bar for bar.

It seemed like he was really down for this hip hop thing, but when i see the ego trip thing...he just fell off as a person that had a love for the art. he really became commerical and fake. this show is soooooooooo whack to me...but i LOVE Nicky2states ever since the "are you, you or are you us? If your us, than who the hell are we?" ...classic...i think she should win...Byata proved her whiteness when she started hating on EVERYBODY..i do beleive she said that sh*t about those girls or why would she get so mad??? if you notice she was coming for my girl Nicky2states last night..saying she was nasty, unprofessional...than she flipped the script entirely and was saying how humble she was...a FAKE PHONY HATER!!!! And i disagree about Nicky2states name (not tryna ride her jock too hard) but her name is real old school italian mafia, mob girl to me....i hated it at first but it has quickly grown...THe show is whack...Reece is sloppy as hell and Lifbo wouldn't hurt! But I will be checkin when Roxanne Shante will be a guest and hopefully she won't be talking like the doctor she is, but the bad bitch she was back in the day! OK. That episode was simply outrageous. I hate the fact that they got rid of ma gurl Bree. She was the best in that house. and plus they got rid of Lady Twist which I thought was freakin ridiculous cuz she one of the best. I hate Ms. Cherry because she is so cocky and she should have went home. But VH1 wants drama in their show. Sometimes its not all about drama ya kno. VH1 could have really messed up Bree's or Lady twist rappin career because of them gettin booted and them knowing that they were better than the other girls. Chiba, Chiba is nice too. Her elimination rap was sick yo....and Cherry didnt stay on the topic like you said. Even though Bree messed up a little she still held it down in the video. She basically took control in the studio and on the video scene because she knew what she was doing already. Cherry is just annoying and cocky as hell. When I saw that Bree was messin up I was like," Damn, Damn, Damn!!...and when they cut her off I was like this show is just BULL!...but I believe shes gonna do her thang.Check out her myspace at www.myspace.com/time4bree.
