Throwback Thursdays: Busta and O.D.B. Are "On Some Outer Space Sh*t Like You Watch Star Trek!"

I had to go and dig this one out the crates (okay, not the crates, but the YouTube archives) because, honestly... you ever get the urge to watch a bizarre Hip-Hop Video?
I did. And what video is better to get bizarre to than a Busta Rhymes video? And one with the raw Ol' Dirty?
That’s the closest you’re gonna get to an LSD high without actually taking the sh*t (meaning, watching it will still make you twitch like Busta at 1:13... and 1:54..and so on...)
Ol’ Dirty and Busta are like the Black version of the Red Hot Chilli Peppers' Anthony Kiedis and Flea, that is, two strung out muthaf-ckas who just happen to have dropped some of the most interesting music (and videos) of our time. No, scratch that. If rappers and emcees went to a Hip-Hop High School (and NO I did not get this from that damn chainletter), Bus and Dirty would be those two mentally disturbed kids that spazz out & start throwing stuff at random but were able to create rhymes that, although they were hot, made you believe that they didn’t allow a proper time period to pass between taking their legal daily meds and their illegal daily meds.
These two still resonate as the craziest personalities in the Hip-Hop game ever (seriously, who out there now is like Ol’ Dirty? I thought so). So, is the fact that these two are bound together, bouncing around a padded room like the two mentally challenged kids
But seriously— how f-cked up do you think they had to get before the shoot to allow themselves to be shown topless... together... covered in spray paint? Yeah, you could argue that it was homo-erotic... if it were Jigga and (insert random rapper name here), but since it’s Bus-a-Bus and Big Baby Jesus, heads just wanted to see the two of the wildest cats wild out together. It is what is is.

this is when hip hop was hot....the video was funny to me but i loved it. i must b getting old because i remember this like it was yesterday but now its a throwback. when i listen to the radio and they play music from 2000 anr call it a throwback i feel crazy as hell....but anyway good video, and how about channel live smoke mad ism....now that a throwback......4me
and not anr........also this is when i was a fan of buster...i dont no what happened to him but when he try'd to go street he feel off big time...

OMG, I feel exactly the same way! I'm a diehard 95-00 Busta fan. I HATE Street Busta... CRAZY BUSTA IS SOOOO MUCH BETTER.

this is a throwback. damn i feel a little old also. this was a fun time. up in high school. rap was grimey
mannnnn....buster had some joints back in the day....the leaders of the new school, the joint he did with janet, the joint with ol dirty..he had some hits, but now hes just wack.....as hell and he thinks hes a gangster...a grown ass gangster......sad....
