Good morning, good folk--
You know what? I have to admit something to you. I am slowly but surely becoming a Lupe Fiasco fan. I've been feeling every single that has been released off of The Cool (and I'm also feeling that track, "Gold Watch" as well) and I even wanted to check out his concert at S.O.B.'s on May 14th. And believe it or not, I've made peace with the whole A Tribe Called Quest thing (don't ask me to reiterate). I'm sure Tip and Phife aren't losing sleep over it, and neither should we. Bottom line: ATCQ and Fiasco as separate entities that alot of wack emcees neeed to sit back, relax and take notes from.
Speaking of "Gold Watch", I had to check out this video clip of Lupe appearing on Tim Westwood's show. I swear, Westwood is an annoying little prick if I ever saw/heard one. He's always trying to make an a-s out of someone.Check out how he dissed Lupe Fiasco's chain:
Wow. You gotta give Lu credit, though, 'cuz if it were Kanye, all hell would've broken loose. Ya man is changing up his style a little bit and get his quiet swag on, but if he don't wanna rock the big pieces, then eff it, he doesn't have to!
Shame when ignorant people try to keep us in a box...
Remember that hot a-sed mess named Wendy Ho whose video I placed on the blog? The one called "B-tch, I Stole Yo' Purse!"
Well... the b-tch is back!!!
Wendy has released a cartoon called "The Special Ho-Lympics"... featuring Hip-Hop's most charismatic (to say the least) rappers showing up to the Applebee's on Flatbush Ave. in Brooklyn ... to run a train on her! EVEN Biggie comes back FROM THE DEAD to get a lil' bit of the action!
If you think that's the most controversial part... watch the entire thing.

Wendy Ho-The Special HoLympics
Man, I don't know whether I should take this for the joke that it is, or actually be upset... I'll let y'all tell it. But on another angle... it is interesting how at least three rappers that are rumored to be gay are featured in that cartoon. Hmm....
Lastly, here's a clip sent to me by Shawn of LostBeatz. This skit is apart of a series called "Huck and Buck Comedy Show Skits." In this particular clip, they show just how serious the electric company can get when you haven't paid your bill...
Aight y'all, I'm out for today! Holla @ me about the videos and don't forget to check tonight's episode of Miss Rap Supreme!

Tim Westwood sounded like a clown in that interview...y does an artist have to wear ICED out jewelry to be accepted...but his chain was WEAK...and Wendy Ho should be dick-slapped for that video...

Breezy, you really should pick up The Cool. I never buy CDs, but I haven't wanted my $15 back since I bought it. It's definitely a hot album
