You know what?
I never actually sat and watched an episode of America's Best Dance Crew in full, but when I went to work or class the next day, I couldn't pass a water fountain without somebody talking about the JabbaWockeeZ (or that other group, Fish N' Chips). Frankly, I still would like to know exactly what is a JabbaWockee, but I guess that's neither here nor there. (Does it have to do with the face make-up? It's very Dead Presidents-like, don't you think?)
But, I don't live so far under a rock as to not know that this all-male crew danced their way to being crowned the champs of the show. Peep this video of the crew talking to SOHH about their win and their experience on the show.
Now here's a question: since seeing the show, how many of you have been inspired to grab up a few of your friends so that y'all could pop lock and 6-step your way to being the next America's Best Dance Crew? Well, you're in luck! The show will be haing auditions from April to May in Chicago, New York, Los Angeles and Houston for the upcoming season (visit myspace.com/abdcseason2 for more info).
Better get to work on those routines!
Did anyone actually watch this show? Did y'all think the JabbaWockeeZ deserved to win?
Holla @ me!

Um, did you watch the video? Explained what a Jabberwocky is. Didn't you read it in grade school?

@ ScoobySnax:
NO! I didn't have to memorize that in grade school. I had to memorize the "I Have a Dream" speech, lol. My elementary/jhs school was very pro-Black, I could tell you stories I read from Harlem Renaissance authors at a very young age, but sadly, not Lewis Carroll.... lol

@Breezy
yeah, I lived in Idaho, so we never learned about Black people in my schools. kinda pissed me off, but...
The show was pretty live. The host is very wack, very square. lol But the dancers were great. That Kaba Modern, Status Quo and a few other crews like Femme were really good. Did they deserve to win? They were one of many EQUALLY skilled teams that happened to go well on a particular day. Their personalities and team ethos was really positive, so you are glad to see good people have good things happen to them.
