ego trip's Miss Rap Supreme Ep. 3: The One With The Lesbian She-Devils

Posted on April 29, 2008 8:00 AM

Man, I hate it when lesbians fight. Watching this episode was like reliving my Catholic-school high school experience all over again – watching two girls who were rumored to be simply “best best bestest friends” have a screaming match in the locker room during basketball practice or gym class or some ish. That was when myself and the rest of my class learned that whatever sh-t they were going through was more than just a bosom buddy matter.

That is how I felt watching this episode of Miss Rap Supreme.

Damn, Lez-Byata and Chiba. Can’t y’all just get along?!

Yes, I’m talking about those two! Our former lovers have turned into sworn enemies, with Chiba going on at the beginning of the episode about how she’s not receiving her just love returned back to her and Byata just shrugs it off like she doesn’t care. Damn. Or, in her words:

Byata: “Chiba’s wack. She’s waaaaaaaack!”

Obviously, they are still upset about what happened at the lady bar last week (no pun intended).

But tell me, how do y’all feel about the entire Les-Byata/Chiba situation, especially when it escalated after the pageant, when this dialogue occurred:

(After Byata discusses that freaky dream she had): “Yeah, I kissed the devil! I’m dancing with the devil... but I don’t tango no’ more!

Chiba: “Who’s skin is white, though?!”

Byata: (walks back and forth, PISSED): “Ohh, ohh you went there!”

Rece is such an airhead... ha ha ha ha! “Is she really the devil?!” Oh my goodness...

As for my girls...damn mamis... I’m saying... forgive whoever it was that didn’t wash off the strap off and get over it already! Sheesh!!

In the meantime, we have also noticed that Byata’s taken on a new homeyloverfriend in Michelle Rodriguez’s sister, Bre, who’s showing her how to --what! girlfight!-- and what not. Aww. Guess Lez-Byata likes it a lil’ rough. But, as we all saw in this episode... Byata loves ‘em and leaves ‘em. Kicked her a-s to the curb quick. But seriously, that’s the sh-t that’s pissing me off about Byata. Her and Chiba don’t click no more, so she runs to Bre. Bre quietly but surely dismisses her after they don’t agree on a particular line, so she tries to help Lionez step her game up after she previously dissed shorty (did you peep her “go back to real estate” comment at the beginning of the ep?) and was pissed that they were on the same team! I mean, if you all are on the same team, you don’t talk ish about that person after ish doesn’t go your way. But you know what? Chiba and Byata are both guilty of talking smack, so you know what? They deserve each other. Invite me to the wedding when it goes down, sh-t.

On to the more important details of this episode:

Yo and Serch have decided to have another pageant in order to choose the teams for the next challenge. However (again, to Lady Twist’s relief) for this challenge the ladies had to embody the swagger (and for some, the spirit) of a few of Hip-Hop’s most swaggalicious, braggadocious MALE rappers. They had to create outfits and model them for the judges’s approval.

I liked Lionez’s little Diddy impersonation, mainly because of her little line at the end. Bre was dope as Eazy-E , no doubt. But personally, I thought Rece’s LL was bigger and deffer , to say the least, and that was probably because she was the only one who had a physical characteristic similar to the rapper she was taking on (their skin hue and their sparse eyebrows). And Miss Cherry as Tupac ? Scary. That's all I gotta say.

Although cute, I definitely didn’t think Nicky2States’ Andre3000 was a winner, but I also don’t think most of these chicks will be able to make it as real femcees so what the f-ck?!

Soo... after teams are picked, (and after Byata and Chiba’s almost bytchfight/lover's quarrel) Serch comes over and announces they’re going to his boy’s house in Beverly Hills to chill. But it ain’t just any ol’ boy– it’s Too Short , the life of the party! But before Nicky could spread her cooch wide open for entry, Short starts spitting about maxi pads (really, guys, some of us have upgraded to tampons, get real) and sending hoes home in cabs for other chicks. Guess what, ladies? THIS IS THE CHALLENGE! The girls now have to come up with a 16-bar response to Short’s rhyme.

Let the crotch grabbing, “f-ck this lil’ d-ck n-gga” rants begin!

You know ya girl Nicky2Steps came for that azz!!
But I did like Bre’s lil’ thing about turning out his wife at the end of her rhyme. At LEAST we have one chick that’s out and about hers!

But alas, Team Bre were the losers up for elimination (I don’t agree, although Team Nicky got their bark on, Team Bre flowed better as a unit) and Nicky2Steps got the key to the Salt-N-Pepa Suite. But this time, there wasn’t any blow up dolls waiting... it was a real, actual bellhop, equipped with a paddle (which, your girl went all “Playa’s Club”, Say-it-loud-I’m-Black-And-I’m-Proud” on.) Yeah.. it’s a bit disturbing.

However, what Nicky and the girls didn’t expect was a visit from a ghost! Serch must be calling in all his favors, ‘cuz I don’t know how he got Ghostface Killah to appear on this bullshyt. But I guess he needed something to do after nobody cared about him crying over his Myspace popularity vs. his actual, present-day popularity. I’m really still trying to figure out how they pulled that one off. I dunno, man. And he didn’t even do anything! At least Charli Baltimore served some sort of purpose. This wasn’t even entertaining! We didn’t even get to see what color Wallabees he was rocking! Aww, man! I HATE stupid cameos!!

So, now we have the elimination, and up on the chopping block is Byata, Bre, Lionez and Ms. Cherry. Their mission? To write a 16 bar verse about women ruling the world. And at this point, I am seriously ready to eliminate Yo-Yo for that awful blue eyeshadow she wears EVERY episode. No, it doesn’t accentuate the hazels, ma ma. It just makes you look like a drag queen.

Here’s what I think about this week’s elimination round:

Byata: As much as she’s becoming a mockery, you gotta admit, she's doing it. I've always felt her delivery. Although a bit off topic, she had me with the first two lines of her rhyme.

Ms. Cherry: Dope rhyme. Points for it being real, negative for it being off-topic (She didn’t creep into “R-E-S-P-E ME” territory, though).

Lionez: Oh, no. When I heard her cough, I said, “damnit, she’s going home.” Point blank.

Bre: Wow. I mean, I was feeling the rhyme but... maybe it’s her build, maybe it’s her voice, but her stage presence in general, is very unconvincing. Although I don’t doubt her lyrical skill, Bre is one of the least charismatic chicks here, and this elimination round proved that to a tee. However, her rhyme was the most conceptually on-point out of the four, so she definitely deserved to stay because of that alone. Besides, she gets a point for eliciting a giggle from Twist with her line, “If women ruled the world, there’d be a whole lotta lesbians!” Somebody hasn’t eaten in weeks, I can tell.

When she messed up, I really thought they were going to send her home instead of Lionez. But I think they made the right choice. And did you see the way Serch shut Yo down when they were talking? He is starting to irk the hell out of me.
Is it me, or do you sense a Yo-Yo/Serch showdown in the mix? Hmm... I think if he keeps shutting her down like that, there will be... so in her words, "fall back yo, you good!"

What did y’all think of this week’s episode? Should Byata and Chiba kiss and make up? (By the way, Chiba’s rhyme this week was “waaaaaack!”) Should Bre been sent home instead of Lionez? Hit me up here or at Breezylovesyababy@gmail.com

NEXT WEEK: Aww damn, don’t tell me Twist is gonna let the bullsh-t get to her and leave! Naww! PLUS– Byata and Chiba Part 2!

  • Hey Hop From Va--

You're funny. No, I didn't go to an all-girl Catholic school, it was co-ed but it was very... lesbian friendly, to say the least. In fact, it was KNOWN for turning girls out (and YES before you ask, I escaped, lol)

Furthermore, girls who use tampons are NOT hoes... there are plenty of reasons why I prefer tampons to pads, and if you want to have that discussion hit me up at the e-mail. LOL

And yeah, Nicky's like Andre3000 step was definitely a LMAO matter! Ha!

  • Lionez needed to go home. Never trust a person who drags their dog behind them. This was a good episode. I like the swagger pagent even though I would not have been able to pick a winner. Several of them did a great job. I think the right team won at Too Shorts crib. They might not have flowed well, but their rhymes and swagger was better than the other team's. Swagger is just as important as lyrical ability. I just hated all the bleeping. It was moving so fast that I didn't have time to figure out the words that were being bleeped.

  • Byata is not fine! That bitch looks like a gay skunk! And I don't know why people hate on Chiba cuz of the beaf with her and Byata because in most of the interviews, Byata is clearly pety and talks about everyone. She pisses me off being the only one to say bad things about Bree, because Bree clearly wanted the opportunity more than anyone there. She also being the only one to really cry after she was eliminated. I feel she should still be there. And no offense to Reece, but Nikki should have stayed over her. And for people who like to diss the show calling people lesbians and crackheads, I've seen worse, don't ever judge someone's orientation. You might be the one at home doing nothing yourself. N E ways, if you ask me, Bree's the best, they make her appear to be one of the weaker Mcs but she's actually really good, plus I was at her performance at the Temple Bar. Byata is fake as hell because a couple of people on the show didn't know that she talked shit about them til they watched. And plus she's like any ordinary rapper, se says the same shit other female rappers have said. Wack! Byata is Wack!

  • Just as I suspected, little boyish dudes commenting on females, calling them dykes and stuff like they shit don't stink when it stains their drawls. Don't act all hard and shit when a gay thug comes and drills your ass, you become his bitch. Trust, I've heard rumors of plenty of popular male rappers being on the dl.

Anyhoo, I hope Byata leaves so Nicky can come back. If you ask me, Chiba and Nicky should be the top two. Reece top 3, but not top 2.
