THE SCHEDULED MAKING THE BAND 4 RECAP IS BEING INTERRUPPTED FOR SOME VERY SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENTS!!!
We have just learned that not only Robert (as was previously revealed) have a past in the music biz [read: Biv 10 Pee-Wee AllStars] but our favorite Danity Kane chick, Dawn, as well as Country Dumb Willie do, too!!
While the info I have on Dawn isn’t that juicy (she completed an album in 2005 titled Been A Awhile that didn’t release/chart), I had to dig this up on Willie, ‘cuz only a bitchass nigga could sing such a bitchass song.
Willie Taylor was a former member of the Chicago-based group Kwiet Storm. With Kwiet Storm Willie toured with many artists.Their music video, "Leave Me Alone", appeared on BET's Midnight Love, Cita's World, Hits from the Street, and as a New Joint of the Day on 106 & Park. After 10 years with the group he decided to start a solo career.

Had to give y'all those lil' tidbits of info because honestly, this episode was kinda wack. No outstanding quotes from Country Dumb, and hardly any bitchassness.
Oh wait-- I *KNEW* there was something else I was supposed to announce!
If you ain't got it by now, Diddy planned this "No B*tchassness" Movement FOR MONTHS... all he needed was for the editors to pick the perfect clips of him saying it, and BAM! Status messages Myspace and Facebook-wide all included the now-popular phrase.
He announced that there were Bitchassness shirts being made for sale at the Sean John store, located in my lovely city on 5th Avenue, which, I've only stepped in, like, twice, on my way to Lord & Taylors...
But what he NEGLECTED to mention (which, I found out after calling the store to inquire) there will be only 300 of these shirts made. There was a waiting list for them which, at present date, IS NOW CLOSED. Nobody's getting a Bitchassness shirt, unless you go to the graffiti shop and get one airbrushed.
Thank the NASTY ASS B-TCH WHO ANSWERED THE PHONE AT THE SEAN JOHN STORE FOR THAT INFORMATION!!!
Next time y'all come to NY, I say, do like my boy Fiyah and I proposed: go to Sean John and knock over some jeans. Ha, ha, ha!
The gist of the ep last night was that it was all about the finishing touches-- both albums are completed (in fact, by the time you read this, Welcome To The Dollhouse will have dropped) and Diddy's concerned with everyone's images and performances. Not too much to highlight, so I'll curtail it:
Let's talk about that horrendous Day26 performance in Ft. Lauderdale. WHAT WERE THEY THINKING?! They started off on a high note with "Exclusive"... but then, as D. Woods pointed out... jumped into the crowd? There was NOT enough distance for that. And then, after the song ended, they kinda got lost... they tried to introduce themselves and nobody in the club gave a damn.
Oh, wait-- I do have ONE Bitchassness quote:
Robert (as he's introducing himself): What up, it's the #1 D Boy!
OMG. He didn't even TRY to be original. Please pass the muthaf*ckin' mic, please.
However, they get a BIT of reprieve for taking the performance critique DK gave them like men... and DK gets a pass for actually choosing NOT to shove it in their faces. Aww. My babies are growing up!
Danity Kane gets a slice of humble pie from Diddy in this episode, and he hits them where it hurts: he thinks that their looks are too over-done and wants them to be more.. trendy. Specifically:
He hated Shannon's red hair, called Aundrea "pleasantly-plump" (now that I had to laugh at, because I'm staring at a photo of the girls right now and that's like soooo far from the truth), and calls Aubrey out on her fakeness oops, I meant fake eyelashes. My question is, why has he NOT addressed the atrocity that is D. Wood's bob? Seriously?
Keep in mind, though, that he said he "wasn't trying to beat them up." Yeah, okay.
I have a question: when they showed Shannon getting her hair bleached, was I the only one going, "who gives a f*ck?!" IT'S F*CKING HAIR COLOR! I personally liked the red... now, with their similiar hair-dos, she looks like the less-hot version of Aubrey. I thought the point was to distinguish between the two white girls...? It also seems like they made D.Woods curtail that skunk on her head. It looks better, ma.
Speaking of better, when Aubrey views her makeover, she admits that it's the first time she's agreed with Mr. Combs (outside the bedroom, of course). Sigh. In my opinion...
instead of looking like "Dirrrty" Chrstina Aguilera, she now looks like "Back To Basics" Christina Aguilera. Y'all need to get her some dark low-lights or something, 'cuz I know I won't be able to see her as anything else. Only difference is that Christina actually has a Grammy.
I really don't have much to say about Day26's performance of "Got Me Going" at the showcase, except to say that I gotta give them their credit. When they were called out for a lackluster practice, and when the mics started to go out on them, no hands were thrown up, no crying, no "I'ma knock this dude out, send me home n*gga" stuff occurred. I guess that was partly because in the end, Diddy saved the day and intervened, because I'm pretty sure they would've went on with the performance without pausing to say "CHECK THE DAMN MICS!"
Ehh. We'll see how it ties up, though. I just got one thing to say:
Donnie...it really wasn't about you this season, huh? Next time, champ...

Breezy, I'm ashamed to say that I am such a Day 26 stan that other than the video and BET info, I knew all that stuff you announced. Not only that, but Drey from MTB4 has joined Kwiet Storm.

Anywho, we have seen Aubrey since the show has taped and her image has not changed one bit. She is still wearing too much makeup. I like Shannon as a red head, but I have heard guys on several blogs say she was too matronly so I guess Diddy was right to a point. The thing is none of those guys are buying their music. Girls buy their music and we liked her hair. Thank God a professional got on D. Woods head. That ghetto monstrosity she was sporting was an eyesore.

The guys seem to be coming together. I have my fingers crossed for them. To tell you the truth, I'd like to see Brian get replaced. On top of the fact that his voice doesn't really fit the group dude got the nerve to have a temper.

My prediction for the season finale is that they will finally give us a release date for Donnie's album and might even announce a season of MTB 4 just for him since he didn't get any shine this season.
As for the bitchassness t-shirt, I didn't want one. Profanity on clothing is offensive to me and I have no desire to see people walking around with that on.
Does anyone remember how outstanding thier first week numbers were on the first album(Danity Kane) and eventually went plantinum but Press Play was getting all the DAMN publicity and had a video for just about erry song! I hope they get the shine thye deserve! Thanks for the info on Dawn and Willie. i like Dawn, shes very down to earth been through a lot, Willie is older than I thought ha! And he had a lil guap before making the band huh, i always wondered why he looked and dressed better and more mature than errones else! Day 26 has alot of work to do, Diddy shouldve b]pushed that album til Summer or 4th quarter! Poor Donnie it appeared him and Seven A. had something GOOD going on! And please get me some info on that 2 hr season finale, before i have to actually watch it and be disgusted!!
That shit of D.Woods head is a wig. Ive noticed a couple of times where that she switched wigs. Im just not sure why the hell puffy would tell here that he approves of her look when shes the worse in the damn group

the show was kinda boring but its good to see progress with day26, and im glad that they gave some of those girls makeovers. d woods is a mess appearance wise, she thinks that hair was actually cute, I still hate the hair, a short cut would be so much more flattering... just cut the long piece off and she woulda been lookin the best in the group...
I watch my fair share of BET back in the Cita's World/Hits From the Streets era and I don't remember that song or video at all! weird because anytime someone brings up music from that era I know exactly what they're talkin about...oh well lol.
Anyway, I wanna know when in the hell did Day26 come to Fort Lauderdale because I don't remember that shit at all. I don't remember 99 Jamz, Power 96, 103.5 The Beat or anything talking about that shit lol.
Oh yeah & somebody tell me that I wasnt the only person wondering what in the hell Ray-J was doing sitting next to Diddy at the Day26/Danity Kane showcase lol.
