Midweek Madness: Swizz Beatz... The Clown? PLUS R.Kelly's "Real Talk" is Spoofed!

Posted on February 20, 2008 9:00 AM

What up y'all--

Okay, I know I haven't done a Midweek Madness in a clip, but these two videos definitely deserve the title. First up for your viewing interest is the lastest offering from Swizz Beatz The Monster....

excuse me, I mean The Clown.

And no, the video's not influenced by Dead Presidents, as I misconceptually believed before viewing the clip.

"Candy Green"
DISCLAIMER: If clowns freak you out, please don't watch. I don't wanna be responsible for you breaking out into hives.

I know what you're thinking. Are Swizzy and DMX sharing the crackpipe and collaborating on video treatments? Didn't this give you flashbacks of the time X was caught stealing a limo from the airport-- couldn't you have imagined him with makeup on his face during his heist?

Believe it or not, this hell of an acid trip has a "seemingly logical" explanation. [see next page].

Remember the little "Sound of Color" blip that flashed across the screen just before this freakshow began? Apparently, five bands were commissioned to write five songs based on five different colors. Five directors then shot music videos of each color's "song". The result is Sound of Color....

Which is why you are staring at Mr. Dean's take on the color "Green" aka My GREEN Drink and Two Step/It's Me Snitches/(Fill In Blank) (come on, I like Swizz, but he is a redundant muthaf*cka). Also, from the gist of what I get, the video is supposed to be spun in a ironic twist that people in the flyest cars don't have to be doing foul play... yet these "seemingly happy-go-lucky" clowns are. Things are not what they seem.... oooookay.

Someone in this world has watched the movie "IT" one too many times.

Tell me this concept isn't on some Damien/Darkman X sh*t. I'm not saying it's a bad video...I just feel like I shoulda popped some quaaludes before I turned it on.

Not that I do that sort of thing.

ANYWAY--

On the comedy side of things, I got something else for y'all to trip out to.

Yeah, we all know R.Kelly's hot mess of a song "Real Talk" is on some next sh*t, that how can it possibly be stepped up a notch? Well, it was! My homie Fiyah sent this spoof that he and his boys filmed... I won't give away the premise, but definitely check the facial expressions at 3:10...

And "MILTON" is jerking off... ohmygoodness...

Holla @ me about the videos!
