Aight y'all--
It's interesting how HBO has these little "prequels" out about The Wire. While they're cool and insightful (not to mention foreshadowing), I've come across some videos featuring some The Wire actors that you WON'T find on HBO On-Demand. I figure I owed this to y'all, SINCE I wasn't able to recap last Sunday's episode. Enjoy.
Up first... true story-- if Omar were a rapper, you couldn't deny his rhymes. Why?
Well, at least we KNOW that the bodies he boasted about on wax were the real deal.

On this second video, ya man Johnny Blaze (aka five million other names) and 1/2 of Marlo Stanfield's Goon Team politick about the top five songs Meth should've rhymed on and his Top 5 emcees. I don't know about his top 5 emcees, but check the video out to see if y'all agree.

The only reason I say Meth SHOULDN'T have been on "Flava In Your Ear (REMIX)" is because that would've been TOO HOT-- cats wouldn't have been able to handle that.
"Bombs Over Baghdad" though? That n*gga's wildin'... lol.
Here's my suggestion: I woulda LOVED for Meth to do a remix with Talib Kweli for "Hot Thing". Don't get me wrong, it's a great song regardless, but Tical might've gave it an extra raunchiness. Either that, or let him put some dignity into that "Sexual Eruption" joint-- sans T-Pain esque vocals.
