The Way It Is 2 Ep. 3: Women Trouble

You know what? After watching this episode, I think I am going to have to dub Keyshia Cole as The Hood Rat Savoir: taking chicks from ashy to classy one hood at a time.
Now, this is by no means a diss to my girl Keyshia C. It's just that these chicks she deals with all around get besides themselves, and she wins SO MUCH respect from me based on the fact that she opts NOT to wild out on them. For that reason alone, I'm considering going out to cop Just Like You.
To make this easier on myself (and a lil' easier for y'all to keep up with as well) I'm not gonna do a straight recap for this one. Basically, Keyshia and her crew travel to Miami to set up a listening party for the album and invite all the "Miami Vices" like Fat Joe, Trina, DJ Khaled, Scott "China White" Storch (heh, heh) and Rick Ross. But this isn't important. What's important is what goes down with the females in Keyshia's life, and what I'm going to do is break them down into categories from here on out.
Ranique--
Did I spell this chick's name right? Anyway, she's one of Keyshia's cl*triders-- I mean friends-- that she invited down to frolic in Miami. Well... while she's down there, Ms. Ranique starts perpetrating a front like she's Keyshia Cole, ordering drinks and even getting on stage to sing her songs. I thought I was going to die when Ranique got up there and told the DJ to play "her and Keyshia's favorite song", which was "Last Night" with her and Diddy. Now, a lesser person might've smacked Ranique back down to size, but Keysh didn't need to. See, Keyshia mentioned that when she's in a spot and her songs come on, she gets the undenyable urge to sing them, so she hopped up on a platform, grabbed a mic, and gave the club crowd a treat. Then the camera panned to Ranique holding her mic and singing... and it was just sad. Sometimes Keysh, when you get on, you can't let errrrybody eat because some people don't know how to say their grace first. But your humbleness amazes me.
Neffie--
Now I know those of you who didn't catch last night's episode are wondering, what Neffie do now? Well, Nef (and Frankie) don't join Keyshia on her trip because they have therapy appointments to attend. Neffie also decides to go get tested for STD's, because of all the sticking and moving her ex-husband has done. I think it's great that she went to do this on camera, because in some way, she's setting an example for those watching who aren't up on their STD statuses. Anyway, the gynecologist exams her and discovers that Neffie is six weeks pregnant. At first, she contemplates abortion (no judgement there, that'll probably be the first thought on ANY woman's mind in that situation) but then wonders if its her unborn son (Nef has 3 girls already).
Now, here's why I hate Neffie, then I love her, then I hate her again. When she's in the car coming from her appointment, she's on the phone and the first thing she complains about is why Keyshia hasn't called to check up on her. We know you're scared, but you need to chill the f-ck out. Keysh is WORKING, she can't hold your hand all the time. In my opinion, she should really watch how she reacts to certain things because it just makes her look more and more ungrateful to the public eye. I'm also hating on the fact that during her therapy session, all she can seem to complain about is the fact that her cousin (who her hubby was creepin' with) won't put the hubby out the house. Damn. Don't complain about it, MOVE ON. If both of them can do that to you, then both of them ain't worth a piece of sh*t. By the way, did anyone catch when Neffie revealed that she and her husband "did threesomes... we broke all the 10 Commandments, and the Vows"? Wow. I can't even... man... I'm moving on.
Frankie--Here's my thing with Frankie. I'm CONVINCED that she's on a MISSION to let the world know that she, is the birth mother of Keyshia Cole, not the woman that adopted & raised her. I'm not saying she's a golddiger, but she wants her place in Keysh's life to be known. I think she needs to tone it down a bit because not too long ago, her place in Keyshia's life was... vapor. In this episode, we learn that this will be Frankie's first birthday that she's spent sober in awhile. So, she figured she'd get big thangs poppin' and drop in on Keyshia's soiree. Frankie felt that the way she was greeted was odd, but come on, Frank, you gotta admit, it was a lil'... sudden. Plus, Keyshia probably knew that Scott Storch was gonna be there and was afraid of y'all spending the night getting caned together in the guest cabana.
Speaking of caned... did y'all see the way Frankie was dancing at the party? If I hadn’t known better... naw, I ain’t gonna go there. But it was very Gator from Jungle Fever-esque. Since it appears no major catastrophes occurrred, Let’s give her the benefit of the doubt.
The episode ended without showing a next-week preview, but hopefully we'll get to see what's going to happen with Neffie and the baby... and how Keyshia will react.

I enjoyed watching this episonde. I thought neffie and her husband were separated. Her listening party was great too and I know keysha had a lot of fun.
I got the notion that Neffie is pregnant by some dude that she recently met, not her husband, since she said her and this person hooked up only a couple of times and THEN she found out he was on drugs. Oh, and did anyone else catch Snoop's wife Shante mixed in with Keyshia's crew at the beach in Miami? I didn't know she got out like that, she always seems like a dry home-body.
Now i STILL say they shoulda brought back DMX's show instead BUT this episode was pretty interesting. 1st off did you see how BET fucked up in the editing room and showed homegirl's ass when she was up there singing & dancing with the skrippaz?? as a dude i enjoyed it so its all good lol. anyway you are the best Breezy, u should let get you pregnant baby girl lol j/k.

I must say that I have a lot of respect for Keyshia. Not only does she take in her (many time ungrateful) family, but she just lets everyone do them, and still loves them. To be young, she is a wise girl. She wants everyone to work out their issues so that they can move on as a family, and for that I think she's a strong girl. I do go through my love-hate thing with Neffie, and the jury is still out on Frankie (no, you don't need to be the friend just yet. Work on being a momma right now), however their family is so real, maybe more so than any other family reality show that I've ever watched on TV. (including Run's House, and I love that show). Go on, Key-lo-lo! You got a fan here.

Neffie needs all the prayers she can get, but i hope that this is the boy she's been waiting to have......by the way, is it her husbands child or the results of some "stray pipework"?
on that note i missed everything about tuesday after 4pm, i literally went to sleep and woke up at 2am to sports center and a stench left over from some good green.......

But Neffie is not pregnant by her husband. She is pregnant by this dude that called on the phone with the subtitle "male friend" thanks BET (Bad Editing Television)!
And I soooooooooooo was thinking Gator when she was dancing. I couldn't breathe for 45 secs laughing so hard!
I am waiting on Neffie and Frankie to get a job for real for real. You know Keyshia will lay down the law on them in 2.1 secs!

Watching this show you have to love Keyshia, or at least develop a level of respect for her. She is pretty much filling the mother role for her sister AND her own mother. Not just financially, but emotionally as well. I give Keyshia much props. I agree with ITSJUSTME, Frankie needs to work on being a mother to Keyshia first since she has yet to be one for Keyshia. I mean come on she clearly didn't care about her therapy and she's suppose to be "healing" just like neffie. Instead, Frankie chose to come down and party, now I know it was her birthday, but I feel the first thing on her mind at all time should be to maintain recovery and progress. As for Neffie, I grew to appreciate her much more this episode. Watching the interaction she had with her daughters when they went out to eat was great. Its good to see she wants to learn from the mistakes of her mother and grow as a person. And last but certainly not least, the girl Ronique had me lmao. She really did think she was Keyshia! I couldn't believe Keyshia just laughed it off, I can't imagine what was going through her head. She really is the most humble person in show biz, anybody else would have flipped out on homegirl. Good show!

yeah i watch the keysha show and i agree with everything breezy wrote but could someone tell me is anyone on this site is posting comments about the i love newyork 2 show ....cuz i just have to write my oppinion about that show cuz its too hillarius..please get back to me somebody..
