Wassup Fam–
Don’t kill me, but I didn’t catch last night’s episode of The Way It Is because I attended a taping for a VH1 Soulstage Show headlined by.... WYCLEF JEAN (Check back @ 1:30 for my take on that... interesting stuff went down last night, forreal for real).
But, as promised, here is part two of my interview with Ms. Tationna “Hollywood” Bosier. This part’s a lil juicer than the first installment... here, Tati dishes about her housemates (including you-know-who). Read on! **Note** If you missed part one, here’s the link: Breezy Shoots The Breeze With Tationna "Hollywood" Bosier PART ONE
Breezy: Was there anyone that you bonded ith right away?
Tationna B: Hmm. Right away? I would have to say it took time for me to really bond with anyone, because you don’t know these people, you don’t know their motives and their agendas and where they’re coming from. So you really wanna take time to get to know who you’re talking to, who you’re dealing with, who you’re living with, because, like certain other people clicked right away. Me, it took a little bit of time. Because when you guys are seeing stuff on t.v., it’s a little set up... how it actually happened.
Breezy: So, on the flip side, was there anyone that you met and you just sized them up from jump and was like, “Um, we’re not gonna be able to kick it?”
Tationna B: [Burst of laughter] Who was it? Because I would think everyone got along. The conflict didn’t start until maybe awhile... the conflict didn’t start...initially, I would say I was cool with everybody. At first, when I first met Jenna, she was so loud, I thought, “oh my G-d, am I gonna have a problem with her?” But me and her actually wound up being cool. So it was like, I didn’t have a problem with anyone initially.
Breezy: And who did you share a room with? Maurice? Is that right?
Tationna B: No, I share a room with Jenna, Kathy and Marc.
Breezy: Oh, you share a room with Jenna and Marc. Okay. [laugh] Was there anything that you seen happen between Jenna and Marc while they thought you were sleeping?
Tationna B: You’re gonna have to tune in, Tuesdays at 10 p.m.!
Breezy: From what I understand, are you the youngest, or the second youngest in the house?
Tationna B: No, I was the second youngest in the house. Spencer was actually the youngest one in the house.
Breezy: Did they treat you like, “oh, that’s just little Tationna,” you know what I mean?
Tationna B: No, it wasn’t like that, because we were working together within the same workforce, it wasn’t a game, I was on my grind like everyone else. We didn’t really go by so much age, it was by their personality and how they acted. We actually saw Spencer as the baby of the house.
Breezy: Yeah, exactly, he’s seen as the baby of the house, but I was wondering if you’d gotten any of that as well. But that’s good, you got judged by your character and your work ethic. Before you went to Chicago, were you involved in a romantic relationship?
Tationna B: Well, it was like a middle ground, yes and no. [Laughs] That’s all I’m gonna say about that. Yes and no.
Breezy: Mmm. So what happened to that “yes & no” after you wound up going to Chicago?
Tationna B: Well, we’re still friends, I would say that... I mean, I wasn’t in a committed relationship, but I wouldn’t just do that. I wouldn’t jump ship because I’m in Chicago for a lil while, so...
Breezy: I did read that in one of the upcoming episodes that– in fact, that might be the next episode– that Maurice brings home a girl and it pisses you off.
Tationna B: Mmm-hmm. Yes.
[We both laugh]
Tationna B: I could say that the guys were getting a lot of female attention in Chicago... I guess because not only because they were attractive, but also because there were cameras around. But I think he did that to test me, and I fell right into it.
Breezy: You fell into it? It’s okay... it happens. Please, I can’t tell you how many times– pleeeaase, it happens! And you learn.
Tationna B: Yeah, so I was messing with the girl a lil’ bit when she came to the house. So y’all will see that [on episode 3].
Breezy: I’m definitely gonna have to check that out.
Tationna B: I feel bad for that girl, looking back.
Breezy: Now you can’t be giving me all this fodder and not tell me what happened! I’m like, ‘Oh wow, what did you do? I hope you didn’t spill anything on her dress or tell her Maurice had herpes or something, that would be wrong!
