Yeah, Irv. REPEATEDLY wearing a cologne that YOU KNOW gives you a rash makes perfect sense.
I used to tell my Mom that same sh-t back in high school when I came home after going at it with my (read: forbidden) boyfriend. She didn't buy it, Deb, and neither should you.

Call me crazy, but I find the stuff about Irv/Deb's twisted marriage is more interesting than the twisted ongoings of The Inc. Don't you agree?

Anyway--

This is the episode where Deb "contemplates" dating other men. Meaning, she calls up her boy DMX, tells him it's time to play "Tashera" (meaning tuck in the penis and put on that nasty wig) and they go out. Let me stop playing Ms. X-- BOTH OF THEM talk like they belong in some butch lesbian prison.

So they hit up 40/40 club, where they are constantly being approached by losers-- sorry, men . I reaaaaallly hope DMX is somewhere getting caned right now, ‘cuz if he’s watching this ep, I’m sure he’d spazz out on poor Tashera (just for being there) and then go cry about it later. I know if I was X I would beat her @ss for admitting on-camera that she had a foot fungus. Eeeick. PLEASE tell me you were joking, mama.

Needless to say, Deb's night goes nowhere. Are you surprised, honey? No diss to Jay's establishment, but 40/40 is NOT a place to meet men. All you will find is people trying to perpetrate like they are larger than life, or leaches trying to hop on the jock/bra strap of anyone that really doees have money. Dating is scary, honey.

You think Irv The Perv cares? Hell naw! He just laps it up to "men/women f*cked up-ness", then tries to get all Dr. Phil and break this fool-*ss philosophy down. Why are you jumping through so many hoops? Just say it-- you don't want Deb doing what you do. Damn. I hate when trifling n-ggas beat around the bush.

All I have to say is that I reaaallly hope Deb isn't trying to go the Kim Porter route. You see what happened with that. She turned a blind eye, she turned a cheek and wham!-- her brand new twins have another sibling, and Puff's still rapping about Jennifer Lopez. I always said that K.P. was the ultimate "play your position" chick, but her glory day ended... and so will yours, eventually. Divorce Irv.

We also find out why Irv signed Vanessa Carlton... and if you saw last night's episode, you'd know why, too. Everytime he looked at her, it was like a wolf looking at Little Red Riding Hood, and he was fully intending to eat her like the story says. Irv always compliments her stuff, which makes her "feel good". I've always been a Vanessa Carlton fan, and I have to admit, the stuff she was playing for Irv had definite potential. (If you sensitive thugs out there want to hear a good V.C. song, download "White Houses".) Let's just hope this won't be Irv-Ashanti Part Deux.

Yeah I know... not much to this episode. Those of you who caught the episode, tell me... you think Irv smashed that lil' model he met earlier? Holla @ me!

  • I hate Irv so much I can't really stomach this show. He is a serious slime ball who actually thinks everyone is like him. I start off trying to watch every week and wind up turning it off. Deb needs to shank that negro and collect the insurance money.

  • Deb is no Kim Porter. She's married ...so unlike Kim. I think Deb is a smart woman and her and Irv's relationship is more than a 30 min episode. I think she should get a nice young man to come "clean her pool" during the week. And then laugh at Irv on the weekends... cause he's footing the bill for the play toy. Ha!

  • Irvs wife has that classic dumb broad syndrome that gives other chicks a bad name. Stop complaining about him doing what he wants to and buying you stuff to shut you up. You knew what you were gettin into from the beginning, you just didnt care cause you were blinded by the "stuff" cars, houses , jewelry... The usual traps that females and some males (cause A LOT of them are golddiggers too, its just another one of those double standards) anyway while he is out doin his thing and baiting you with material stuff you should have had your ass in school somewhere or doing something so you dont have to depend on him in order to live the lifestyle that you desire. So either suck it up and realize that you will be cut off if you dont do what he wants or get your own so you dont have to worry about it.

  • I enjoy this show, but this week made me dislike Irv big time. Fuk a friendship they are married with kids. He gets to have a marriage and mess with other chicks on the side, with no remorse. Deb needs to stop smiling all in his face every weekend like it's all good. If he wants to see the kids fine do that, but I wouldn't be participating in his fantasy. That isn't good for the kids to see either. I hope once she sees this show she realizes how silly this whole things is. She is going to get half regardless, so I say sign the papers and start moving on with your life.

  • Man listen here, ya'll females need to simmer down..Ain't too many niggas out there like Irv Lorenzo, that's why Deb ain't going nowhere. Women kill me, ya'll want to be all independent until it's time to pay for some shit. Irv is handling his business, he's a millionaire and he's good father to his kids. Deb should just play her position and enjoy life. She could easily be fucking with a nigga who work at the A&P who treats her the same way.

    Plenty of women don't care if they man is cheating as long as he takes care of them, I think Deb is one of them women. As long as she can go shopping when she wants and get that orgasism 3-4 times a week she should be good money.

    Ya'll acting like Irv is some bum ass nigga, say what you will but Irv knows talent and he knows how to market is artist, although I wasn't the biggest fan of the "It's murdaaa" slogan.


    Let's say she do leave, what are the chances of her finding another young, black, millionaire? What are the chances of her getting with a dude that will not cheat on her? What are the chances she will find a man who isn't on the down low?


    As a black man I will say we are fucked up, really we are. Ladies if you got a good one, you better do what it takes to keep him, cause there ain't too many of us around. No one is perfect and grass isn't always greener on the other side, plus they got kids together. Stay and be miserable for the rest of your life, it's not that bad! lol!
