Aight y'all... we're still doing the run-through but I just heard Damien announce the nominees for Best Female Video Artist which are:
Amy Winehouse. Beyonce. Fergie. Nelly Furtado.
Damn... they might as well just give the award away right now.
Judging on VIDEOS alone... Beyonce may have this one in the bag. She's been releasing videos like diarrhea with her B'Day Video Anthology... but on the flip side, the only ones that were worth a damn were Get Me Bodied, Suga Mama, and Upgrade U. All the other ones suck.
Personally, I think it would be refreshing to see someone else take it... Amy Winehouse's two videos, "Rehab" and "Back To Black" were good. Fergie and Nelly... ehhh.... I don't think so. At least, if they don't win, maybe then they could put a halt to that so-called "Hot White Girls That Rap" beef that they have.
