HIT ME ON MY BEEPER? Isn't this sh*t, like, ten years late?
The old adage forever rings true-- the players change, but the game stays the same.
Ugh. Can you remember when YOU had a beeper? I KNOW YOU WENT THROUGH AT LEAST ONE!
Is Pharrell's head about to explode? It looks like a ticking bomb!
But I can't front on the beat though-- I'm feelin' it.
I'm not so quick to say that about the video, though. WHY? Because it rides the VERY FINE LINE of creativity and laziness. When it starts, it looks like Hype and his crew didn't even try, like they just uploaded some stupid @$$ Spring Break pics from a digital camera and decided to make a Microsoft Powerpoint slideshow. Am I right? But, around 1:25, you realize the purpose of the slideshow technique-- they're ripping off Hewlett-Packard! P, WE SAW THE DAMN COMMERCIALS,OKAY-- THEY WERE BETTER.
Come on, Hype Williams. You slippin' dog, forreal for real. Is it Pharrell that's f*cking with your juices, because "Give It Up" sucked harder than Lisa Lampanelli at the Superbowl.
Seriously... this junk has to stop.
Do what y'all do best below!

Kill ya self!
I saw FAMLAY a few months ago at a Clipse show in Norfolk, VA. He said he has been getting a lot of flak for the beeper record in 2006. However, he said the point he was trying to get across was, if you needed that stuff, not to call him on a cell phone and have a talk about it. Let him get at you later. Dope show though.
First of the song is straight trash. Pharrell has fallen off like indian skaters.
and didnt talib kweli just use the HP commercial concept in his video?
Sounds like chillin in my beema listenin to ether LOL.Everything sound stha same nowadays
I hate you Breezy. Nice of you to post this the day after DigiPimp posted it in the Dirty South section.
I mean this song is SOOOO OLD but I guess he still had a buzz going with it so it is cool. I cannot front the beat is nice but Pharrell is one crazy midget man!!!
..overall. it was a lazy effort by everyone invovled.
..why that record? ..FAMLAY should have way better songs to drop if STAR TRAK took this long to put 'em back out? (im sure everybody have their reasons)
..in the state that hip hop (music) iz in? because the (culture) iz fine.
..why jump out here right before school starts an drop "HIT ME ON MY BEEPER?" ..i meen wtf?
..yes Pharell iz stuntin wit the latest pocket PC an wut not ..an not an actual "beeper" but damn man c'mon?
..then again this iz an *OPINION* ..so can anybody tell me if this shit iz poppin n VA?
Reporting live from Norfolk, VA all day.
NO. This song is not poppin in VA at all. I havent heard it on the radio in at least a year and that's being conservative. FAMLAY got hood love around here. And unlike other niggas from VA, it is a known fact that dude is not frontin. He's a real street dude.
The video was not shot on some Spring Break shit, it was shot right in the HOOD in Huntersville, Norfolk, VA. Actually, he shoots all of his videos right in the same neighborhood. Not far from where the Clipse shot the Grindin video. (Even though it's a looooooong way from their "nice" side of town.)
We like FAMLAY cause he from around the way, but sorry to say, he gets no burn here.

Lazy shit...I'm disappointed
I don't know what you talkin' bout this video is dope as hell! But the song is eh!
Clipse aint from the hood?

Nope. That's not to say they dont be in the hood. There are only a few "H-O-O-D" hoods in Virginia Beach. Some, but not many.
Norfolk is a WAY different story.
Co-sign with Leck, I am from Virginia Beach, and there really isn't a "hood" out here for real....the Clipse went to my rival high school, and that wasn't even considered a "hood" school.
