Making The Band 4.5: "Can We All Just Get Along?"

I'm gonna stick with this theme today, because ironically this was a question Diddy brought up himself on the show, although I'm sure he cares more about whether or not his caramel macchiato is the right temperature. After watching tonight's episode, you definitely know there's a storm brewing inside the house, and P Daddy definitely is the one in charge of the stirring. This leads me to conclude:

Let me drop some knowledge that somebody once told me: "If you can't beat the Devil, you best understand him."

Clearly, our MTB4 guys need to have this quote blown up and posted over their barracks.

You know what? Do y'all realize that the show is edited the same way, EVERY WEEK: personal drama in the beginning, challenge, bonding during the challenge, Diddy performance, The guys *think* they're getting cut but don't get cut until something else is thrown in the mix, THEN the actual cuts. I mean damn... can we NOT stick to a set type here? Could I get my personal drama in the middle or some sh*t like that, spice it up or something? Sh*******t.....

So, I'm just going to point out what I found interesting.

First of all, the Robert/Junesaga is about to cause me not to watch this show anymore. Robert, how about you just straight CUT THIS CHICK off once and for good? She sounds like she's a chain smoking truck driver named Marge, and has bigger balls than he does (and a thicker moustache). AMY THE TRANNY (who makes a cameo in this episode), who probably violates her @$$cheeks daily with testosterone shots, sounds more like a lady than she does! Yet, you run your lame @$$ runs back to her everytime she calls. F*CK THAT BYTCH!

Second, I am so proud of Big Mike. He's really trying! You gotta admire his perseverance during that 5K run. And although it was funny when he looked like he rather get circumsized with a weedwacker than order a grilled chicken sandwich, his efforts are paying off. YA BOY DROPPED ELEVEN POUNDS!

The performances were good. The guys chose old classics to perform, and honestly Diddy couldn't find fault with any guy.WHICH IS WHY HE SELECTED THE SOLDIERS TO KILL OFF THEIR OWN. Now, this sh*t is grimey as hell. You can't do your job, so you ruin the camaraderie of the house by making these dudes choose? It's already some sh*t brewing because some of the guys chose to go out to a strip club instead of waiting for Diddy's verdict. I could understand his pisstivity, though. The man just snatched y'all out of ya beds in ya draws and made you compete to practically GET TO GO BACK TO SLEEP! What the f*ck are you doing, money?

And when they go out, they act like the only breasts they've ever seen have been in the frozen food aisle! WHAT THE F*CK WAS WRONG WITH THAT GUY WHO SAID, "UHH, UHH, I DON'T KNOW HOW TO DO A BODY SHOT?" THIS was the gayest moment of the episode. Now, anyone who's ever done a body shot (present company included) knows that the it's acceptable to say, "I ain't never done this, maybe you can do one off my chest and I'll do two off yours." Some smooth sh*t like that! Them ugly @$$, speech impaired, retarded Ying Yang Twins got more game than that! Ughhh!! They better had blocked his face so I couldn't call him out by name!

End result: Jeremic and Devin got the axe. Womp, womp, womp. WHO CARES?! Now Jeremic can stop crying like a b*tch & go take out his anger on whoever named him at birth.

Next Week's Episode: Get the f*ck out, Laurie! GET THE F*CK OUT!

  • Last night showed me there is a lot of good shit left on the cutting room floor. It was never mentioned how many Diddy wanted them to cut so for a while I was thinking, "Why they only cut 2?," when Diddy said he needed to cut 4 - 6 and Dan (the actual boss) was mad at ALL the dudes that went to the strip club. I'll tell you why....Dan gave Diddy all them pics and he thought, "Damn he trying to get rid of Mike and Andrae before I'm ready.," so he said, "Damn Dan, calm down. Just pick two." So Dan picked the appropriate two new guys. New ass Devon shouldn't have taken his ass to the strip club and new ass Jeremic can't sing as good as the rest of the fellas AND he went to the strip club AND he's a bitch AND his name is Jeremic. He had to go.

    I don't know why Dan picking who had to leave should be a problem in the house unless word gets out that he actually wanted to eliminate all the strip club dudes. Otherwise he stayed faithful to his boys and only eliminated "new guys" so the old guys should feel more of a bond. They outnumer the new guys big time now.

    I don't know how many cuts have taken place up to real time today, but some of the guys were spotted in the streets of NYC this past weekend and Mike has lost a LOT of weight. Here is the link to the pic on ybf.blogspot.com. You have to scroll down about a third of the way.

  • i dont understand why these guys say the brotherhood is out the window or whatever. those guys that diddy chose were not asked to be chosen. and the guys left should be happy that they werent picked. i mean unity is the best way to make you look good in a group. they mindset is off. they need to make the best of the situation and work they ass of next time so they can be the ones diddy picks to choose....ungrateful mofos...

  • Man, I just wanted to smack Dan by the end of the episode. He looked so smug and satisfied about getting his titty-loving compadres booted from the house. I liked the way that they panned to Donnie who was terribly troubled by the cuts after Dan's snitchy rejoicing. It was like a good white dude, bad white dude thing. I've been tracking the show's progress over on my own blog.
