Charm School Finale!

Charm School is done. Hurrah!
Saaphyri was crowned the First Winner of Charm School. But seriously, after a certain point in this series, was there ever any doubt that she didn't have it in the bag?
But before I get ahead of myself, let's talk about the final lesson of Charm School. No, the real one. I know that Mo'Nique said it was "Thou Shall Get Fabulous" but by looking at the tactics Saaphyri and Becky came up with (and Leilene went along with because she has no better choice 'cuz her studying methods SUCK... stupid girl... you take a drink to calm your nerves when you're about to go on stage to pop that @$$, NOT to take a pop quiz!) the last lesson could've easily been (and I'm using Becky's own words): "Thou Shall Payeth Back."
THE BIG PAYBACK, B*TCH!!
One of their last eliminations comes in the form of being quizzed on everything they've learned. Here's the twist though: the girls get to ask each other the questions. The first girl to get 3 questions wrong in a row, gets booted. Between making up extra-corny raps, Saaphyri and Becky decide to use this fact to their advantage and ONLY ASK SHAY questions. Talk about divide and conquer! That plan is genius-- and it worked (surprise! Frog legs are eaten by hand, Buckeey!). The remaining three girls think ish is all gravy after that-- but lo and behold-- they have to make speeches about why they deserve the $50,000 check and -- ha, ha!-- SHAY gets to help Mo judge their authenticity.
Isn't it funny how life turns out sometimes? Extremely. Why?
Because you THINK this is where we'll see major drama. You THINK Shay is going to rip Becky and Saaph a new one-- but it becomes a big f*ckin' cryfest. I mean, was it me or didn't you feel like saying "this sh*t is MAD FAKE" when Saaphyri and Shay hugged? Maybe I'm watching this on the wrong day and my sensitivity is shot to hell. What-the-f*ck-ever. It must be, because during Leilene's speech, I was not moved! I felt like she was digging real deep, as if she was trying to summon the great MLK Jr. to somehow possess her body to make her speech more compelling. It just didn't get to me like that. Wait, I take that back. I'm a sucker when it comes to spending money to educate children. That being said, if Saaphyri's speech didn't cause as much waterworks as it did, I would've given Leilene the money for that reason-- and that reason ALONE.
But the matter of the fact is, Saaphyri won-- end of story. Personally, I knew she was going to win the moment she didn't let that broke down, Trina wannabe, alligator-shaped headed New York (I'm so serious this b*tch looks like a f*cking alligator or crocodile!) phase her out during their interview. And yes, she was a bit rough around the edges ("You don't know ME! I'm from 54th and Crenshaw!") but she grew and realized her purpose on the show. I believe that she did change, yet at the same time, knew how to play her position in order to get on Mo's good side when it counted (Hence, the Saaphyri/Shay unbelieveable hug... as much sh*t as this girl was poppin' before, I DOUBT that she found it in her to forgive that quickly). Good for her. And an EXTRA good for her for getting rid of that god-awful Remy-Ma-On-Her-Worst-Day weave. Now she looks... like her "new best friend", Shay (take a second look at her with the white gown on-- they kind of DO look alike there).
Are y'all planning on watching the Reunion show? I just want to see how far Leilene has REALLY grown and if she'll take Pumpkin's bait, because you know she's gonna give it to her next week!

Lawd please forgive me. I actually did shed a tear. Shay was so touching. I felt bad for her in spite of the fact that she sent Larissa up the river. She was just adorable. I called Saaphyri and Leilene in the final two a long time ago. Saaphyri was too experienced for the young girls and played the game like it was written just for her and Leilene, stripper though she may be, was more ladylike than all of them including Saaphyri.
Even though I knew Saaphyri was going to win by week three, Leilene's speach had me routing for her a little bit. I had to keep in mind that with 3 children she can't cook and she is a major airhead. I doubt the money would have gone to her children's educations.
Saaphyri would likely use the money and fame more wisely. Unlike the other girls she doesn't have to do party appearances to make money. She has a profession and has already stated that she now has more clients in her salon than she can handle. That's what's up. I hope she opens her own salon if she hasn't already. Her partial lacefront weave technique is revolutionary.
All and all I was very impressed with that whole show and the finale was worth the wait. I can't wait to see the reunion show.
I watched every episode and I pretty much fiugured that Saaphyri was the Eliza Doolittle of the group. It was getting waaaay too emotional for me, I thought I would break out it was so sugary sweet. Hopefully if they do a second Charm School (and somehow I know they will)Mo'nique will lose some of that heart fat and she'll speak without pausing every 3 seconds.
I'm watching the reunion show in the hopes that someone slaps the ISH outta that damn Larissa... if I had to see that pink monkey blanket ONE MORE TIME I was gonna find her and slap her myself.
Uh Your not a good writer at all they should not call this "The latest HATE on Hip-Hop TV, Movies and Music Videos" they should call this "moderatly amusing on a slow day blog for people who are bored at work" with that said. i liked birds review better. oh and i am going to say that i am glad she won.

i missed dat shit, i smoked like two dubs of sour and fell asleep between watchin the re-runs and waitin for Entourage to come on.
woke up at like 4am and yessir, Entourage was available On-Demand, and i 4got a left a full "L" of Sour in da ashtray that was meant to be sparked while watching yesterday's episode of Entourage.
It don't take a rocket-scientist to figure out i proceeded as according to plan, cept with a 6hr delay. And yeah i had to be at work at 7am, so i kinda stumbled in here on "full-bake".
I saw the Marathon yesterday but probably not enough titty to keep me awake to see the finale.

What did make me tear up was everytime i saw Flav tongue the shit out of one of those dumb ass girls. Leilene is a straight up air head and Saaphyri is gonna run through that money before you know it. This bitch was claiming she was all broke and homeless, but i distinctly remember her saying that she spent her rent money on those UGG boots.. Now correct me if i'm wrong, but maybe this is the reason her dumb ass was homeless if she buying fucking boots instead of paying her rent.

As a man around 23 and just finishing up college, my naive self four years ago thought girls were worth a damn, you have some good WOMEN, but girls dominate. Sunday after sunday this show displayed why women will never run the world like they are capable of doing they hate each other! The worst part of the whole season is when they tried to pick the right man, this is one of the most useful lessons the show was suppose to teach you its the most important lessons a women can learn who they spend the rest of their life with or for those not down with committment at least know a decent baby daddy, and all those dumb bitches failed. so the show became about which one of this broads i could get to fuck me the quickest I got my money on pumpkin!
I hate to admit it but I shed a tear. Saaphyri's story was very touching and that's really sad what she went through and I think she really deserved that money. But it was very obvious that she was going to win, I mean as much as she threw that damn pity party and saying that she dont have a home, I mean, Come on! Was it that damn hard? But I an't hating though. Congrats.
Am I the only one concerned that Saaphyri admitted to spending her RENT MONEY on UGGS?! Let's see.. keeping a roof over my head... or having the latest fashion trend? I feel for her situation. I wouldn't wish homelessness on anyone, but come on. What ever happened to personal accoutability? I still think Leliene should have won. She actually grew and changed. The episode before, Saaphyri was still acting ghetto and trying to fight at that dance. She only won because Mo' felt sorry for her.
Okay...I just want to say that maybe for a minute I would have felt sorry for the girl, but the re-cap when she was in the thrift store, screaming she had used her RENT MONEY on some boots, I can not feel sorry for that. I do not think she should have won, because she has POOR DECISION MAKING SKILLS. How many VH1 Celebreality women will it take for the real hard working, intelligent, motivated, respectful women of the world to wake up and realize that woman are moving backwards in our fight for respect? Everytime one of these reality dating shows or reality shows where woman are competing for money airs, women come out looking like cheap whores who will do anything for a dollar or a second of fame on tv. It's an absolute shame that these "my daddy didn't love me" lost little girls have to act like common street trash with unintelligent language and have abolutley no respect for themselves.
I hope that the producers of this show and every other reality show that depicts women as a commodity don't have daughters of their own that one day actually think that any of the "lessons" of this show are real and relevant to the real world, unless you are a prositute that is.
And lastly, as far as Mikki and that gay guy, you should be ashamed that your careers were so bad that you had to take money to be apart of this mess. I hope you hadn't hope to become famous for this, you will now be infamous, which is a completely different thing. So sad.
