Since separating, Beyonce, Kelly and Michelle have been doing well for themselves. Michelle's been trying to get it popping on the gospel side of the music industry, and personally I think her voice is more suited for that realm rather than mainstream R&B.
We all know that Beyonce is giving Pope John Paul II a run for his money. With everything this girl has been up on, in, around, and through, she's pretty much one miracle away from being declared a saint (a naughty saint, nevertheless.)
But mostly I'm happy that my girl Kelly Rowland seems like she's FINALLY coming out with some hot material. She's not on Bee's level YET, but she's back with a new confidence that she previously never let shine though. Y'all didn't know she could bump like this.
But since this is Throwback Thursday, let's throw it back to an old joke. Remember when, DC3 was THE GROUP TO HATE ON?!
Everyone used to get on the way Beyonce's dad was handling the group, likening him to the Joe Jackson of our era. Girls were being replaced with the quickness if they couldn't make Bee look good, I mean, play their position.
NOTE: THIS IS NOT A BEYONCE HATE POST. Personally, I love her & respect her hustle. So all you E-Thugs out there that are ready to rip me a new one, STOP IT WITH THE F*CKERY.
Anyway, peep this video I found. It's Debra Wilson of MadTV parodying the "Emotion" video. It's kinda funny, cuz back in the day, things DID seem like they were going down like this.
