  • i have several points on this one.
    it seems real easy to blame the female in this. however, it also seems that this is what the whole don imus controversy was all about. akon is a grown MARRIED black man. yet this is what he does with strange women/girls on stage in public. where is the real responsibility. it should be soley on akon. this is his show, not the girls show. he was the sole decider of the content of the show. could have danced the tango and the girl would have followed. he could have not had women up on stage at all and just performed his dumbass song. but no one else on this blog is putting any responsibility on his hands. whether the girl was 14, 18, or 43 this was a sad display of a black man degrading a black woman. you can't criticize don imus for his comments, vh1 for their bullsh*t coon shows and give akon a pass on this. black men need to take responsibility for how they treat their women. the fact that this girl was 14 just makes it worse.
