Gwen Stefani has ruined “The Sound of Music” forever.
In her latest effort and attempt to be god knows what (as I don’t want to call the shit “artistry”), G-Stef butchers “The Yodel Song.” “Wind It Up” [watch above] might as well feature the damn Ying Yang Twins. I’m actually curious to hear what they would have done with this chorus.
(Note: As I am way behind on you guys' requests, I am going to devote the rest of this calendar year to catching up!)
America, we family… I’mma be frank and tell you exactly what’s goins on. I’m completely and utterly disgusted as I watch this. I want to wind my dick up and slap her with it.
Gwen is suffering from a condition doctors have named LGS, which stands for Lonely Goatherd Syndrome. I cite “Brokeback Mountain” as probably the best example I can conjure of how problematic this ailment can become.
To answer your question, G, boys like you so much because they think you’re a stupid slide. Pharrell didn’t even want to show up in this video. I think he’s been reading. He knows his services are best rendered to this sinking ship as a silent partner at best.

Say word, Ron. I too listen to No Doubt's earlier stuff, reminiscing the better days when Gwen wasn't so obsessed with being cool by association (to black folks, of course).
