No surprises here. Cee-lo is crazy as all shit. Danger Mouse is his new accomplice. I guess Timbaland ain't wanna fuck with dude anymore after the time he caught Cee-lo tripping balls and trying to jerk off in the barbecue chicken tray in the green room. Plus Tim is workin out and shit. Cee-lo is a bad influence. Whatever, fuck Timbo! Gnarls Barkley's got more than enough to trip to of their own accord. "Crazy" [watch above] is their initial offering to the supposedly sane world.

I am cool with Sweet Sugar 'Lo singin to us. We need more versatility in our music. However, I'm really not looking for shit from 'Lo with NO rap verses. The dude is a fucking genius and we should be getting more rap from him.
I'm diggin this concept. The use of the moving ink blots to shroud the artists is pretty clever... you know... given the whole "crazy" theme. As weird as this video seems, it's kinda tame for what I've come to expect from a Cee-lo video. Dude usually got nekkid people and teletubbies and shit runnin around, so I'm not complaining. When I first heard the song I thought "If they make a video for this, they're going to try to traumatize me." Thank god every record label sucks dick.
I wonder why Gorgeous 'Dre from Outkast doesn't fuck with this Dungeon Relative so much. They seem to get their shit from the same dealer. If this is what acid is like, it doesn't seem so harmful! I think we should drop some, watch that Yung Joc video again and see what we see.
Addendum: People have been asking me why I haven't been commenting with you guys as much as before. Well... contrary to popular opinion, I do have an actual life outside of the blog that mainly consists of playing football and giving your mom the gift that keeps on giving. Besides, no one talks videos on Talkin' Videos anymore and somehow Uncle Ruckus and Ronald Reagan not only have found the site, but they have nothing else better to do than babysit my balls on the daily.
I thought the white man had better things to occupy his large brain with... like spaceships... and running the world. I'll tell you what. While they're distracted by my blog, I'm going to go out there and pull some strings.

This is tame compared to other videos Cee-Lo has been in. The ink blot theme is hot considering what they could have gone with for a song titled Crazy.

We love us some Gnarls Barkly in the UK. This shit was number 1 out here bout a 5-6 weeks ago, for once we're ahead of the US. Great track, Cee-Lo doin the damn thing, how come this blog has got 22 posts and that Yung Joc shit got 200+. I think it speaks volumes of where US hip-hop and the fans is at at the minute. Imma be real though, when I first heard it .. I said "what in the fuckery is this weird ass shit?". It caught me when I LISTENED to the words though. the ironic shit is, its not "Crazy", what they're sayin...but exactly the opposite, ex: ("bless your soul...you really think you're in control"). if that shit aint true, i dont know WHAT is.
Everything is good about this. Good song, beat, lyrics, artistic genius seems to be there. They're even getting most of the attention for this song that they should be. I guess I shouldn't kill myself, JUST YET.

I like the song Crazy but you need to listen to #1 - Go Go Gadget Gospel. I thought I was in church. If all gospel sounded like that, I would leave secular music alone. Also, you need to hear that #9 - Transformer. The song is genius.

This song is completely brilliant. I love Cee-Lo....he does what he wants and I respect him for it.
The video....pretty good. Creeped out by the fact that he put 2 reflected 1/2s of his face together then added devil horns. That's going to stay with me for a while. The whole inkblot theme was genius. I've noticed that a lot of videos are starting to do the whole animation, then rap, then reverse the animation thing.
The song is great, the video was good, but I think the video for "Beautiful" was more crazy.
