T-Pain is an amazing producer and songwriter. Don't judge him soley on his 2 singles... his album is great and shows off his true talent, which is composing music. In Luv Wit a Stripper is just supposed to be funny and catchy, which it is. It's actually nothing like the rest of the album. Also, how much control does an artist really have over their video anyways? Especially someone new to the game... I actually like the videos, but if you think they suck you shouldn't blame T-Pain for it; that's the fault of the video's director/editor etc. I've done a lot of work with T-Pain in the studio, and the man is a musical genius. T-Pain started producing at 10, then at 15 yrs old became a producer and rapper in a dirty south group called the Nappy Headz that was pretty popular in the south east, (hence the name of his album Rappa Ternt Sanga.) When he grew up and got married (to a BEAUTIFUL woman might i add) and had a child he decided to leave the rap game and started singing... his songs leaked out and Jive Records signed him and Akon signed him too and now he's even getting his own record label. His producing potential is limitless, which is why Jive Records is having him produce music for most of their artists. You really can't compare him to D4L or Pretty Ricky because T-Pain is a new and different bread of artists; He can do it all. Haterz are gonna hate, but I think you need to do your research first and also give credit where credit is due. He'd be the first to say he doesn't have the best singing voice, but you can't deny the fact that his composing skills are unmatched. He is multitalented and he'll be around for a long time; Jive knew what they were doing when they signed him. When you get the chance to see his true potential you'll be shocked at how wrong you were.
