Ladies and Co-d's, listen up: Ron Mexico has been fired!
After 5 months and 100 posts of his off the wall reviews of our favorite rapper pimps, video hoes, and background weed carriers, SOHH proper had no choice but to let Mr. Mexico go. How many death threats from lame video directors can we take? It was for the good of the whole site to cut off Mexico-mania before the cancer spread.
Nope, I'm just joking. Ronnie is taking the week off to rest up, like Eminem. He'll be back next week with more of that crack for you kids.
In the meantime let's celebrate the 100 posts milestone and look back at The Best of Talkin' Videos!
In no particular order:
1. Ying Yang Twins- "The Whisper Song". This is the first ever post, and it's still my favorite. While everyone else was raving about how the Twins were gettin' grown and sexy, Ron reminded us that, "One looks like a midget Negro billy-goat. The other looks like he has a mild tinge of Down’s Syndrome." Ron goes on to explain that Ying Yang are suffering from the "Flava Flav Syndrome." [click here to read more]
2. Pretty Ricky - "Grind with Me". This is Mexico's most cantankerous video review. Even I have to admit, he was kinda rough with these kids. But, that's what they get for giving themselves female stripper names, like Pleasure, Baby Blue, Spectacular, and uh...Slick Em. Read the comments on this one. Dozens of teenage Pretty Ricky fans hop on to defend their R&B crushes, and all hell breaks lose. [click here to read more]
3. Pussycat Dolls - "Don't Cha". Ronnie Mex hit the nail on the head when he said they look like the Fanta Girls. I can't watch them girls perform without imagining a soda bottle in their hands. Thanks to Ron Mexico.

The Pretty Ricky "Grind with me" review was by far the funniest. Second place honors would definately have to go to "B5-You got me". Precious moments. Timeless classics.
The Chris Brown review. Nothin else to say. Shit was life changing.
Pretty Ricky hands-down. Those fans are ridiculous. I am sad to say that when every one asks me where I am from and I say miami the first thing comes to their mind is Pretty Ricky and it saddens me that we have strong talent, but lame ass gimmicks. After looking at that blog and those responses, it doesn't matter to me what i say they still gon' ball.
I have to give it up to Ugly Luther, my bad, Pretty Ricky. That review and the aftermath still haunts the Talkin' Video regulars to this very day. Good job on reaching the century mark. I hope to be around for the next 100.
Yo to me that SO ICY was Funny as hell, shit most of these blogs are funny, and what really makes it funny for the reg's like myself is the Fans who get on and say whatever they can to show there love, even dude's be sounding like groupies. Keep the Video's coming, And what the fuck is ron taking time off for? did he finally get a REAL job?? lol J/K Enjoy the time off Ron. But you better come back with some FIRE
Grind On Me....That's when I first came on here. Ron had me laughing and sending the site too people. Thanks Ron for making my summer HIGHLY entertaining.
I enjoyed the B5 jokes, the CHG "Game Will Freeze" jokes, and most of all, that "Coolio Iglesias" photo!

Chlamydia Lydia had me ROLLIN'! He had so much aggression towards that video, it was priceless.
Plus, any video that involves 50 Cent or Bow Wow was golden.
