In one of the quickest requests I’ve ever turned, we find that Ricky Martin and Fat Joe make strange bedfellows.
I can’t quite call this, nor could I say I ever saw it coming, but La Vida Loca meets Lean Back and enlists the R&B stylings of Amerie on Senor Martin’s newest single and video combination “I Don’t Care.” [watch it now]. Wow, Ricky… You could have fooled me. (Please feel the sarcasm there.)
This man used to be on soap operas. Wouldn’t you think he could convey emotional distress a little better than just pretending to toss his hair and looking away from the camera? I mean, nothing says “I wanna murder everything moving” like a little Sean Paul running man with extra hip movement.
Seriously, the nigga’s shit is on complete swivel. I don’t think there are any ligaments or anything holding his midsection to form. As a friend of mine said a long time ago… “There’s definitely sugar in his tank.” You don’t need that gay-rumor Geico-lizard Wendy Williams to speculate on this one.
What a choice for video attire, Ricky! I see your stylist went with the Ed Norton from The Honeymooners uniform. Good call! It really makes you look rugged!
Can someone explain that little ass brick wall portion? Were we supposed to see all of it? Directors need to decide is the video going to be shot on an obvious set… or not!
Question of the Day: What is Ricky air-humping at? I don’t think this is the time or place for air-humping! He’s supposed to be getting his burner and dumping shots at the Greenwich Village party going on in front of him. Or maybe that’s what Fat Joe’s for.
They successfully made this video look like a ghetto cologne commercial. All this video is missing is Cam’ron and a bottle of his toilet water.
What is up with Ricardo's hair? That is without question the worst fade I’ve ever seen. His barber should be strangled with the clipper cord… Unless his mama did it… Then it’s understandable.
P.S.: Ricky Martin is not interested in Amerie… or any other woman dancing around. Interestingly enough she got Fat Joe all up on it too. I guess she’s good.
The Amerie make-up smudge/cry shot is not because of Fat Joe's angry chastizing. It's because she is coming to terms with the fact that she really loves Ricky and is creeping on him because she hears him murmur dudes' names at night.
While Fat Joe did the right thing by kicking Amerie’s blackanese ass to the curb, being on a Ricky Martin track and appearing in his video are inexcusable. This is like early Christmas for 50 Cent. Clickety-clank.

There's something about this song that I do like and I don't know why. As Darth knows I have been traumatized by seeing Ricky "snake" it.
This video was cheesy and low budget, but the real problem to point out was: what was amerie's point of being there?she had like 2 words in the song, but yet she gets a dance routine?

I wasnt really feeling the video or the song. Ricky acts way to feminime in this video. Fat Joe and Amerie are just there for street cred. I still love Joey crack but this may have been the stupidist move hes made since he got caught up with roy "get ko" Jones jr.
