As you all are aware, the Murder Inc. trial has been postponed. But you know what… We’ve already started Murder Inc. week, so fuck it! We're gonna finish it!
I don’t know about all of the drug/laundering shit, but these cats should be put on trial for some of the musical crimes they’ve committed over the past few years. Who the fuck is Lloyd and why was his video “Hey Young Girl” [watch it now] available for mass consumption? This kid was the best Murder Inc. could do for a teen idol? They couldn’t find a Chris Brown? Well… at least they have a touchdown of their own. Throw him in the back of the short bus with the shaved chipmunk, Crack Child and Ja and see if they can drool out a hit!
Who gave Knoc-turn’al’s uglier little brother a record deal? I think niggas on the street really missed the Murder Inc. free lunch line. It looks like ANYONE could have had a deal within that little 2 year window.
Who is that chitlin’-eatin nigga houndin the grill tellin Lloyd how grrrreat young girls are? This whole shit feels R. Kelly-influenced from the non-sensical lyrics to the hypersexualized “young girls.” I see that Jermaine Dupri cameo, too! You know can't have kids making records and videos without JD lurking somewhere. I don’t think he’s mad he let this one slip through his fingers though. Aside from his being a horrendous vocalist, Lloyd’s freakish Cheshire Cat grin looks like it would scare the shit out of a young girl.
Oh, the dancing! Thank you Lloyd for not being as stiff as you were in the “Southside” video (*barfs*), but that was the weakest step routine ever attempted. If you’re from the south, you know that shit wouldn’t even fly at a high-school talent show. Why is it good enough for a music video? Luckily for us Lloyd has taken his robot & shuffle routine to the train station by now.
I do feel what this video was trying to do. But if you are going to make a children’s pool party, don’t try to make it look grown and sexy, then let your boy do his Sesame Street dance routine for all the world to laugh at. As I said before, Chris Brown would murk him… sadly, even as a singer it appears.
