Warming up for the new Pretty Ricky video (your #1 request AGAIN), I’m gonna tenderize a new target and take jabs at a familiar friend at the same time. However, today is all about another debacle. Jive Records newcomer Chris Brown allies with Dipset Albatross Gang official Juelz Santana for Brown's leadoff single and video "Run It" [watch it now]. You would think this would be a rap song... possibly about robbing people, right? Well, I'm sorry to disappoint. I don't know if they are though.
Can’t believe they let waterheads with lisps on TV. He sounds like a fucking pterodactyl. I don’t even know what a pterodactyl would sound like, but this nigga sounds like it! The verses are pretty awful. At times Juelz makes sounds from his mouth that kind of compliment the straight-out-of-the-Burger King-ad instrumental. Seriously, I thought I was watching a new J.C. Penney commercial. The chorus is quite infectious, though. Run it, bitches!
Making a song about keeping young girls up late is pretty sad. Grown-ass niggas like Juelz Santana should be fucking ashamed. Making the video about it however, makes them marketing geniuses.
