Fresh off the skreets of St. Louis, Missourah comes Ebony Eyez. The Trackboys' newest project. She is a girl. She is attractive. By golly, she can RAP!
Her new single and video "In Ya Face" [watch it now] displays all of these but we quickly learn that she is not exempt from the pressure of selling her own sexuality to be paid attention to.

I thought this was a Destiny’s Child member. I was like: When did Kelly Rowland start flowin? She coulda did this on some DC tracks. Maybe Beyonce wouldn’t have wifed Hova.
She can flow. This is a very pleasant surprise. I was waving my banner all over the place for her until I got to the chorus. And what a chorus it is! "Would you let me put my [nana] in your face?/ If I let you bend me over by the waist?" She set female rappers 5 years forward and backward simultaneously. Amazing.
I LOVE watching people do the chickenhead dance.
Something else strange: For celebrating her Ebony, she has some light ass foundation on!
I really hope she’s writing her own shit. I’d be a fan. But she definitely sounds like a Lunatic. However, she asserts that she’s not a chick that rides dick to be a part of the licks, so I'll give her the benefit of the doubt.
Continuing this crazy train of contradiction, after the song switch she said “Make niggas come quick as fast food from a diner!” Excellent! That is a great line. I'm not even being sarcastic.
I was coming into this video expecting to clown another background dancer’s horrible ghostwritten attempt. I was pleasantly proven partially wrong by well-written verses and a video that is not UnCut quality. She’s even a looker! But she needs to do that chicken dance all over her makeup-person’s face.
I hope after she gets her initial shine, she can make her flow the main attraction… But who does THAT?

Awwww shit she definitely "got lyrics?" Ladies and gentlemen I think we just found the perfect ghostwriter for Loose Cannon! (for those that don't know check out that Loose Cannon vid) On the real though, it's good to hear a descent female rapper out of the Lou. Hopefully Trackboys don't produce her whole album because that stadium stomp sound they use is becoming real redundant.
