Pardon the late entry, but I spent 15 hours in an airport today. I didn't get where I needed to go, so I decided we should all feel fly this fine evening. What better way to get fly than with ANOTHER crack anthem from the Dip Set Fly Boys? The Diplomats video du jour is the low-budget ghetto merger of "Get Down" and "Best Out." [watch it now] Between the two videos you should hear vocals from Juelz Santana, Hell Rell, 40 Cal, JR Writer and my new best friend, corny-chorus-boy Bezzle.
The first half of the video entails Juelz Santana delivering a sorry-ass verse (even by his own erratic standards) in their crackhouse/office. That's right people... Why separate the 2 greatest things in life (cracks and plaques)? Get it how you live, my niggas!
Surley hustler-historians will find something terribly wrong with their layout. In New Jack City the crack baggers were butt-ass naked lookin like a National Geographic video. Dipset bagger girls look like they came out of a Dark and Lovely commercial. The one with the afro is entirely unacceptable... This would include taking gunshots and stashing contraband for Cammy, running train on the leftover hoodrats, ordering Applebees, and picking up pink and purple basketball jerseys from the cleaners on 143rd.

Hell Rell... (sigh) The nigga look like Seal and Bobby Brown. I always wondered why he was never prominently featured in the videos. I now understand totally. Aside from the fact that he was locked up, imagine how quickly the hoes would have filed out of the hot tub in the "Hey Ma" video if Hell Rell were in there soaking his scars. They already had to deal with Cam farting and Jimmy throwing bottles, Hell Rell would have been too much for those poor hoes to take.

let me tell you one thing about Dipset. Unlike Mr. Jay-Z who had to acquire the rights for his songs after retiring and only as a negotiation tactic to head Universal Music Group. Other than that he would of never owned his masters. Jim Jones does he even brokered his own distribution deal with Koch records. Juelz and Cam are not distributed under Koch, maybe now they are. Jim Jones is a street hustla who used his street smarts in this shark filled corporate world to make something out of hisself. When he was just Cam's boy he was called a tag along and a fake friend, only around for the money. At least now he's pulling his own weight.
